Paliotti’s is a cozy place for catching up with friends or having a family dinner…the staff is friendly and the portion size is large (even the kids menue portion is big). The mushroom ravioli was very yummy. Unfortunately I found a bug in my Shirley Temple but they were very apologetic and quickly replaced my drink. All in all I had a fun time and would visit again!

They sent me home with sausages instead of meatballs without telling me they ran out of meatballs. I went back unhappy asking for a refund for the dish and they refunded all my order. Thats excellent customer service. The food was good and I feel bad since they refunded everything so here is 5 star.

My husband and I went to have a quick dinner.
Waited for a server for 15 minutes, ones the server arrived took our drinks order 2 ice teas. Took 20 minutes to reserve ordered appes took 20 minutes to reserve dinner took 5 minutes i found that really strong in to till I took a bite.
My Alfredo sauce looked and tasted old I was supposed to have chicken in my pasta found about 4 little pieces took one bit and pushed my plate to the side.
I told my server I wasn’t unhappy and asked for the bill.
Bill arrived and the pasta dish was still on it i asked for itvto be removed and was told NO
Restaurants was dark and dirty un friendly.
Do not recommend.
Boston Pizza has way better pasta.
I will never return.

The first time I went a year ago I loved it. Had the Tuesday pasta special. Gluten free pasta was cooked to perfection and minestrone was top notch. But recently the last 2 times they haven’t cooked the gluten free pasta enough for my liking even though I always request extra well cooked. Maybe new cook, GF pasta takes longer to cook than regular but they just don’t get it right. Still a bit chewy. I didnt send back but instead took home leftover to cook a bit more. And last couple of times Minestrone was luke warm and less in bowl. Ceasar salad has stayed good and consistent. Probably won’t return because I’m tired of getting chewy pasta. Also curious why they can’t get hot water in the washrooms. Sucks washing hands in cold water.

Ordered pasta for a group of 25 adults based on a strong recommendation from a friend who regularly orders from the Abbotsford location. Unfortunately, the Maple Ridge experience was very disappointing.
There were multiple promises to call me back while finalizing the order that never happened. I understand restaurants get busy, but if you say you’ll call, you should.
I was advised to order smaller trays and repeatedly reassured they were not dinner-sized and would feed 3–4 adults each. Based on both the price and what arrived, they were clearly regular portions, which made estimating quantities frustrating and misleading.
The order was read back several times and was still incorrect. I was told I’d be emailed a receipt to confirm, that never happened. By the week of the event, I honestly wasn’t confident the food would even arrive.
Once the order arrived it was wrong, incorrect quantities and two trays missing, including a dish required for dietary restrictions. Those guests waited about 30 minutes while the rest of the group ate.
The following day, I noticed two credit card charges. When I called, I was met with shocking responses including “Why should we be penalized for the mistake?” and “If you couldn’t afford it, you shouldn’t have ordered it.” Completely unacceptable.
Both charges ultimately posted, forcing me to dispute one with my credit card company.
The lack of customer service was shocking. In an already challenging economy, strong customer service is a major competitive advantage for restaurants and this experience was the opposite.
The pasta itself was decent, which is the only reason this isn’t a 1-star review. If you’re considering this location for a group order, I wouldn’t recommend it. If at any point you feel unsure during ordering, trust that instinct and walk away.

We celebrated my mom’s 90th birthday at Paliottis I had no idea it was pasta night and probably busiest night of the week. The staff was incredible the food was delicious, and the service was great. A big thank you to Paliottis for your part in making moms night so special.
Side note when the bill came I said are you sure this is correct and she said yes and then I asked if she had added in tip, which she had. Paliottis is very reasonably priced.

Food came out quickly and service was exceptional. I had the Ravioli highly recommend. My wife tried the chicken parm also good. Muscles and clams were delicious my daughter tried it for the first time and loved it. I am not sure about those reviews who say this place is slow and food is just okay everything was very good and food came out hot and quickly. We enjoyed our evening here very much and will definitely return.

From my experience this restaurant has a nice atmosphere with mediocre/bland Italian food. I got a chicken/bacon pasta and the sauce seemed watery and bland instead of rich and creamy. It seemed to have very little meat in it (shnibbles cut up really small) I wouldn’t recommend it or re order it. My son’s kids pizza looked bad, hard and thin. He didn’t like it. The only thing that seemed good was the chicken fingers and fries. The server was friendly, but unfortunately the food was no good so we won’t back.

We took out of town guests here for dinner. The pasta meal seemed like they forgot to drain the water from pasta and poured the cream sauce on top giving it a tasteless flavour. The cheese in the jar on the table had bugs in it. The waitress said she would get me another jar of cheese but by then my appetite was gone.

The OG Paliotti’s. 35 years and 4 restaurants as a family business for Italian means they must be doing something right. This location is the original; don’t get it confused with the one 3.5km west (also same family but different style).
The food here is great. Portions are generous and they don’t skimp out on the good stuff. That first zing of balsamic vinegar and EVOO with the perfectly toasted focaccia is strangely memorable.
Service was good and suited the occasion.
The only dislike was the desserts. We found that the mains and pasta were really good but the desserts were ok. Worth trying though for sure (esp. the tiramisu).
Nice and cozy, home style feel. Will definitely come again.
