I usually love getting a shawarma here, but I don’t think I’ll be back after trying the lamb today. There was so much rubbery cartilage that I threw out the sandwich after 4 bites. I don’t want to be rude but frankly it was disgusting! What a waste of food and money!

If you ever wondered what an amazing sandwich like shawarma tasted like, don’t go here. Sandwich was beyond mid, had weird ingredients, was dry, not enough, garlic, etc. What sucks about this place is it’s American Arab food but done horribly. At least chipotle or taco bell is American food mocking Mexican but it tastes good. Service was nice but that’s it, place is cheeks.

I had a solid experience at Bucharest Grill in Royal Oak — the food here is very good and full of flavor. I especially enjoyed their sandwiches and shawarma, which are tasty and satisfying without being over-priced. The staff was friendly and did a good job with service, which made the visit pleasant. I also liked the relaxed, casual atmosphere; it’s a nice place for a quick lunch or dinner stop. There’s a lot of menu variety, and you can tell they take pride in the recipes and quality of the food. Overall, I’m happy to give this place a positive review and would recommend it if you’re in the mood for Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern style wraps and sandwiches.

The quesadilla is always soggy instead of crispy as it’s intended to be due to the cooks placing a freshly hot steaming of the grill on top of the other quesadilla creating moisture & ruins the crisp! I’ve asked can they be separated and always given a hard time when it’s comes to spending my money! The customer service where is extremely poor ‘ treat it like a sport ready to be combative with customers when all we w at is our good made right since WE pay. I would give a -10 for customer service poor attitudes & passing phones to one another as if it’s a tit for tat match….leads to feeling uncomfortable placing an order bc who knows what will happen to your food next! THE ROYAL OAK LOCATION IS TERRIBLE AS WELL & for what I see most of your locations won’t last, money isn’t everything, actually care about how you treat people, who your hire & the quality of your food!

The attitude is unbelievable. If they don’t have good customer service they should be put in the back or home . It’s crazy when u walk in they face all brunch up like someone did something to them maybe they need to work at McDonalds. Them females are so UNPROFESSIONAL I will never go this location again. How does the on in Detroit (the hood) have more respect and manners than the one located next to a well respected hospital u would think they will be professional. Management needs to address your workers

The customer service is definitely lacking and attention to detail I asked for no pita chips on my salad it was loaded with pita chips and very little chicken. Also there was no dressing in the bag good thing I checked before leaving because this is the second time they’ve got my order wrong or left something out. Last visit I paid for extra garlic only to get home and it was sour cream (I had drive all the way back). The staff is more concerned with being on their phones than focusing on customer service. I will give this location a break especially after reading the recent reviews this seems to be one of many outgoing issues at this location!

Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Meat was juicy and fries were crispy. The quality mirrors that of the locations in downtown Detroit. Pickup was easy and Covid friendly. Also, I ordered during lunch time and they were busy but they worked quickly with great quality. Highly recommend for amazing food and cheap prices!

This past Sunday evening I purchased a chicken & a lamb shawarma from this location, anticipating an amazing dinning experience based on the recommendation from friends about this spot… I was pleased with the chicken shawarma , it was moist, seasoned to perfection … The lamb however was the total opposite, the shawarma consisted of the worst, toughest, rubbery, gristled pieces of what was supposed to be lamb… A complete waste of my money & a major disappointment considering I’d been looking forward to the shawarma all day…. So unfortunate, this type of experience Is how companies lose faithful patrons… I’d get the chicken again, won’t do the lamb ever again…. Do better Bucharest , Do better.
