This spot has the best mana’eesh (flat bread) that I have tried in DFW so far… all breakfast items are good – I recommend the falafel.
It’s my go-to spot if I’m craving a nice Syrian breakfast…
It must be noted that it is very casual and self service style but the price point matches that…
Overall recommended for good food!

Wanting to try some pizza and none in the area had ground beef and or beef pepperoni for toppings. Decided to try this restaurant and ordered the Syrian cheese fatayer and Sujuk & cheese pie. This is by far the best baked bread pastry I’ve tried in Texas! Very fresh dough and the seasoning was delicious. Not included in the pictures, but awhile back ordered the fattoush salad and was also very good. Clean restaurant and polite staff. 15/10 🙂

Delicious food! The staff is very hospitable, welcoming and helpful in guiding us through their menu. Location is very clean and spotless. The food was so very fresh & flavorful. The meat in our pita sandwich was tender and juicy, both lamb & beef. We also had a Syrian cheese pizza that was unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back.

If you’re looking for authentic Arabic Middle Eastern Syrian fatayer (mana’eesh), this is the place to go. Their cheese fatayers taste just like the ones you’d find in Syria. The meat options are halal and perfectly moist. We also tried their hummus and falafel, both were delicious. Prices are reasonable, and the place has a warm, homey vibe. Absolutely recommended if you’re craving the true flavors of Syria.

I had an outstanding experience at zDAR Food! From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The flavors are so authentic — the chicken shawarma plate was perfectly seasoned, warm, and satisfying. Their baked pies (like the sojuk & cheese pie) were fresh out of the oven and absolutely delicious. Great variety of vegetarian options too. Portion sizes are generous and prices very fair. Cozy atmosphere, quick service, and everything felt made with care. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to often. Highly recommend!

Good experience I liked the restaurant, the food is delicious and the cheese pastries are great, the hummus is great. I just wish the beef tasted better.

Good service with generous portions that are reasonably priced. The reason for the 3 stars, I stopped in for dinner and ordered the beef shawarma platter but was not available at the time (7pm) so I ordered the beef kabob instead which was ok but overcooked on the grill. The hummus fetteh was not good and the bread used was stale tasting. The dining room was clean but a little on the warmer side. I hope the owners don’t take this review personally and focus on improving.
