WB’s Table turned out to be a real find. The food landed across the board. The burger really does earn its Frisco award with a great crust and melt. The lamb bolognese was the quiet standout, rich and comforting in a way you don’t expect from a small neighborhood spot. Shrimp and grits were solid, and while true Southerners may debate the style, the shrimp are cooked well. The spinach and artichoke dip deserves huge marks. Creamy, hot and easily one of the best versions anywhere.

Drinks have a clear point of view and feel intentional rather than filler. The room is cozy, which adds charm but also means it fills quickly, so reservations help. The bar has TVs for a game, and the staff keeps the place moving in a relaxed, low-pressure way that makes it feel like a real neighborhood hangout. Prices aren’t light, but the quality makes it reasonable.

Overall it should be a 4.5, but it gets a shooter’s roll to a 5 because the food hits, the service is warm and the whole place just works. A legit gem in Frisco and an easy pick for a casual date night.

There’s a reason WB’s Table is our King-crew’s answer whenever someone says “where should we eat?”. On a recent November night, we piled in once again, drawn back by Chef Wade Burch’s unbeatable combo of chef-curated dishes, craft cocktails, fabulous wines, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s equal parts Napa charm and Texas comfort. We started with Candied Bacon and Deviled Eggs, thick, smoky bacon glazed with just the right sweet-heat, paired with creamy deviled eggs. Then moved on to “The Award winning WB’s smash style Burger”. It never disappoints, juicy short-rib & brisket blend, melted American cheese, pickles, and that soft bun. The wine list punches way above its weight! The selections are thoughtful (heavy on Napa and Sonoma) and pair perfectly with everything from the burger to the fish special. In a city full of chains and flashy newcomers, WB’s Table is the spot we keep choosing, because the food slaps, the vibe is unbeatable, and Chef Wade and his team treat every guest like family. See you this weekend… probably twice (Sunday Brunch!).

My husband and I had dinner here for date night last night, a Thursday. The restaurant was full, and it appeared that they only had one server plus a bartender and busser/food runner for eight tables and a full bar. Anyone who has ever worked in the food service industry knows that’s WAY too many tables for one person during dinner rush. Christian was lovely and kind, but it was clear he was absolutely in the weeds from lack of appropriate staffing. Not his fault – maybe someone called in sick – but it definitely impacted our experience.

Unfortunately several mistakes were made. We couldn’t eat our appetizer for about 20 minutes because they took our chips to bring us a refill for the spinach and artichoke dip and didn’t bring them back until well after the entrees arrived. Then we watched as they gave my food to another table, then came over and explained what happened, so I sat and waited while my husband ate his meal, unable to eat my own meal or the appetizer that had grown cold while we waited for chips. We had been trying to get our server’s attention to no avail. They finally brought chips while we waited for my entree.

They eventually brought my meal, which was disappointing after a long wait. I had the BBQ pork with poblano grits and “off the cob” elotes. The pork was WAY overcooked, dry, and tough, and the only flavor it had was the barbecue sauce brushed directly onto it. It looked like they cut up a larger piece of pork and cooked the hell out of it instead of cooking a larger piece properly and then slicing it for plating. The elotes had no flavor (just butter and a whisper of chili powder or smoked paprika), and the grits, while nicely textured, were missing seasoning. Very disappointing. My husband’s burger was delicious, however, and I ended up eating what he didn’t want instead of my own meal.

Directly after the mishap with giving my food away, someone (I assume he was the owner) came to apologize, but we weren’t checked on again until well after we had both finished eating. Our server Christian noticed I hadn’t finished my meal, and asked if there was anything wrong with the food. At that point, the time had well passed for fixing that mistake and I was ready to leave.

Overall, I’m unimpressed with a restaurant so highly rated. Drinks were tasty, and they did have lots of clearly marked items that were gluten free, which was nice, but out of the entire meal only the drinks, spinach and artichoke dip, and my husband’s burger and coffee gelato were possibly worth returning for.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Greeted by the well-traveled chef and owner, you know immediately this is an establishment built on pride and dedication to both quality and feeling welcomed. Our first visit (we will most definitely be returning!) was fantastic – the rotisserie chicken salad sandwich is terrific and the shrimp and grits definitely shows the influence of the chef’s time in New Orleans, with a deep rich flavor. Topping it off with a spectacular carrot cake (full of flavor, not sugar) was the end to a great lunch. And you can pay via phone rather than the monotonous check-paying exercise. We highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to try another lunch or dinner!

What happens when you take an amazing chef and turn him loose on a small, but elegant, restaurant? WBs is the answer. My bride and I had an outstanding dinner, amazing service, and just a wonderful dining experience. Here’s what we had, Calamari, crispy and cooked just right, nice size portion. I thoroughly enjoyed the lobster ravioli, but it was a tough choice given they had scallops on the specials menu. My wife had the steak, sweet potatoes, and spinach, she said it was excellent. The wine menu isn’t huge, but it’s really well put together and has solid choices at all the right price points. Dessert was pecan pie for me and house sherbert for her. Both were well portioned without being too big, perfect ending to the meal. Go here, it doesn’t disappoint! We will definitely return for more great food. Oh, and they have a carry out kitchen next door, we can’t wait to enjoy the quiche we ordered for Christmas.

Loved this place. Second time I have been to WB’s within 7 days. First time visiting was to get take out (on the left side) to try the best burger in Frisco. It was so good!!! Second time was tonight with my family. The veal and the salmon dishes were great. Excellent experience and will be back.

WB’s Table absolutely nailed it with their Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner and wine pairing. We come here a lot because Chef Wade changes the menu seasonally, and it’s always fun to see what he’s cooking up next.

The meal felt festive and thoughtfully put together from start to finish…the “CHOPPED” Oysters Rockefeller were a killer opener, the bacalà fritter had great crunch with just the right kick, and the skate wing piccata in lemon-caper sauce was perfectly cooked. Later courses like the olive oil-poached swordfish and the lobster with gnocchi in a saffron mussel emulsion were rich, balanced, and seriously memorable. Dessert sealed it…panettone bread pudding was the perfect ending.

The wine pairing was legit (not an afterthought), and the service was warm, paced well, and attentive without hovering. One of our favorite spots in Frisco!!!

We tried this new local restaurant for the first time and we were impressed. We got a last minute reservation on Open Table and we arrived early. They were slammed busy but seated us quickly. The mushroom and truffle risotto had a well balanced flavor. The lamb ragu was delicious and had an excellent slow cooked and homemade flavor. Don’t sleep on the Brussels Sprouts starter. Cocktails were also expertly made! We’ll be back!

This is a hidden gem! And it’s also a must try restaurant! I was looking for a restaurant to take my employees for dinner and found WB’s. All of us drove 30+ minutes to get here, and it didn’t disappoint! The food was amazing, the service was attentive and the setting was trendy and hip. Chef Wade was out in the dining area and it was such a pleasure to chat with. He finished up this restaurant with his own two hands – floors, brick interior, painting… He is equally (if not more!) skilled in creating tasteful and unique dishes. We had the meatballs, the braised ribs and the shrimp and grits. All were superb! The chocolate mousse cake (made in house) was also very good!
Put WB’s on your dinner schedule and thank me later!
Such a great experience!

I have eaten at WB Table and loved the food so when hosting a holiday work party at my house came up, the choice was obvious. I worked directly with the chef on the menu for 20 guests including several with food allergies. The food quality, taste and presentation were all amazing. The guests from near and far raved about the deliciousness. Wb Table is a fantastic option for dinner out, ordering in or hosting a party! Highly recommend.

Great Tuesday evening dinner. Low key with high quality and gourmet food.
Great service with personable and attentive staff.
Impressive range of wine, cocktails and bourbon/whiskies.
This place has a chilled vibe but backs it up with the highest end food and great weekend specials.
For Frisco this is a true diamond in the rough.
