Absolutely wonderful experience a little confusing about the cups getting them with the order or do I have to get them at the counter, either way great experience as you enter there’s a little tablet you use to order your meal very detailed. You are definitely going to get more than you expected! I love the spice on everything it was so season great and the chicken is soft and not burnt where it’s hard to bite, the place is really clean, the staff is so friendly and helpful! They are really nice, bathrooms are really clean! They really take care of their atmosphere the artwork in the walls look so awesome! Will be back for more chicken! Highly recommend!

Disappointing Experience
I went to Mother Cluckers in Shawnee and spent about $50, and honestly it wasn’t worth it. The employees had AirPods in their ears while taking orders, which already felt unprofessional. My buns came out completely cold and untoasted and even kinda hard I’m guessing due to it being cold — you’d think they could at least run them through a toaster, especially since they probably have one and even cheaper fast food places toast them.
When I asked if they butter the toast like the pictures show, the employee just said they never do. Overall the food and service didn’t match the price at all would definitely expect a little more attention to detail. Definitely disappointed

The chicken here is the bomb! I had the ‘kickin it up’ heat level and it was so spicy, yet still maintained the good chicken flavor. I’m going here again! Val at the counter was very nice as well.

Update: we visited again tonight and it was disappointing. The chicken was overcooked (hard to chew, but still tender on the inside) and very greasy. The milkshake we ordered didn’t have the frosting edge with cereal crumbs on it, which if we hadn’t had it before we wouldn’t have probably noticed but it was disappointing without it. I did see from the dining room that there was a jar of frosting on the shelf so either a cutting corners issue or lack of training. The staff were very kind and friendly so we didn’t complain about our issues tonight.
My son and I felt like going out and couldn’t find an option until we thought of Mother Clucker and we can both agree that it was some of the best food we’ve had in a while. It’s always hot and fresh and the spice levels are appropriate for each of us. The service is great and we always enjoy sharing a Cap’n Crunch Shake to cool things down. Thanks for being a consistently delicious meal and great place to take out of town guests and family.

I went today to grab lunch. Somehow their system was down, but the two registers taking cards were open, they just had zero way to take cash and I only had cash. I was not greeted when I came in, no one asked me if I had questions. I spent time looking at the board and finally decided, when I went to the front register it was down unless I had a card. I only had cash today… Just felt like a waste of time. They could have put signs on the door or near the menu letting people know. The employee that told me she couldn’t help me seemed clueless as to why I would find it odd that they can process credit cards but not cash… Usually it’s the other way around. I gave the food three stars because I’ve had it from another location, but I don’t feel like trying to come back. I’ll probably come back have a card with me and be told only cash. ♀️

This is my first time going to this chicken shop. I was recommended this place by a few of my coworkers. Decided to grab lunch before going to work. Went with the two piece tenders, fries and drink. Chose the mild since I went to work after this. While I was waiting, my eyes looked around. It was quiet, but could get much louder on busier hours. Glad I went at the time I did. Alright, here is the good. The chicken was nice, hot and fresh. The mild was indeed mild with a slight bit of heat. I chose to go with their house made ranch. Which went really well with their chicken and fries. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. The pickles help provide a nice sour reset to the taste buds. I also like that it was served on a metal tray with lining instead of using those paper trays. Helps reduce waste. Now here comes the bad. A few of the tables were not clean when I went to sit down to wait for my order. The floor was incredibly sticky. Like, old school movie theater levels of sticky. Thankfully, an employee who just arrived to start their shift immediately started cleaning tables, mine included, much appreciated. If you come to this place, it might be best to take your order to go. They do offer separate ordering stations, as well as receipt options. When you enjoy the chicken, be careful as it is piping hot. The coating does a good job keeping the heat in. A decent experience overall. Just keep those floors clean.

We have been waiting for this location to be opened! I love where they locate, and nice parking space, a very clean atmosphere, and great customer service. We love their comeback sandwich and shakes! We have tried their sandwiches, tenders, wings, shakes, oh fried pickles!! All of them are really REALLY good and HUGE! ( pickles are regular size, but so many! )And yes, you would possibly wait for a little bit, but I think it is enough time to cook those giant pieces of chicken! I would better wait for them to cook my chicken completely! Don’t forget these honey to go with! Highly recommended!
