Stumbled on this place by mistake but glad we found it. Learned this place is a St.Paul staple so I see why it’s typically busy. I got the red snapper which was AMAZING! I wish I would have ordered two of them. The side dishes was amazing especially the kimchi and potatoes. I would suggest if you haven’t been here that you go soon. We will definitely be back.

Excellent Korean food in St Paul. I ordered the stone pot bibimbap ànd it was delicious! The servers were attentive and polite. Thé side dishes were plentiful and varied. This will definitely become a regular Korean spot for me!

Food was amazing! We didn’t know what to order, but the server was very helpful. The seafood and tofu soup was especially delicious, and the skin on the snapper was nice and crispy. This is definitely one of those places that you have to try a few times to explore the menu!

A bit off the beaten path but so worth it! The food was delicious and very well priced. Our meals came with a selection of several complimentary side dishes that really enhanced the experience with additional flavors to try. The portions were generous and the staff were very friendly and attentive too. I’ll definitely be making a point to come back any time that I’m in the area!

Friendly staff, warm atmosphere while I went to pick up my food. Biggest complaint from me is that the kimchi chi gae tasted old and had like 2 pieces of decent meat. Really bummed me out because I craved it so bad, the soup tasted old as well and it was fairly watery. Bul go gi was decent though, enjoyed it almost as I should. Rice was good though, no complaining there.

My friends and I ordered
Combo meal with spicy cold noodles and galbi
Seafood pancake
Spicy pork bulgogi

I liked everything! The galbi was seasoned very well and juicy, and the cold noodles were very refreshing. The combo meal is so worth the price because of all the delicious food you’re getting.
The seafood pancake had a good amount of toppings, and was crispy and a little fluffy.
And the spicy pork bulgogi was well seasoned and tender. It was a bit too salty for me though, so I ate it with more radish. I think I’d love it more if it had less salt.

Overall, I’m really glad I tried the food here. It’s affordable and authentic! I 100% am coming back to try the lunch specials, the soup, the bibimbap, and the galbi tang.

Assorted side dishes (Banchan) of kimchi, potato, bean sprout, radishes, or cucumber, just to make a few, are complimentary. You may ask for a “refill” if you are polite. They are served as appetizers in a Korean meal. Once your taste buds are open, feel free to proceed with soup, stew, grilled meat, stir fry and various items on the menu. Ask for clarifications if you have questions. Everything is delicious there. Budget about $20 per person. Order dishes to share (family style) in a group. You will be delighted you try.

I had a higher expectation for this place as some of my friends have said good things about this restaurant. It is rather unfortunate that I was quite disappointed.
The service was good.
The food, however, did not worth the price.
We ordered the Spicy tofu stew, and broth was okay, not spectacular, but okay. The amount of food was small and they diced the beef so small (and I am talking about fingernail size), that I have to dig to find some at the bottom of the bowl.
We also order beef bibimbop, this was also a big disappointment. A big stone bowl and they only filled the rice along with small amount of vegetables and a very small amount of beef with a Fried egg half way. Again for the money, it was not worth it.
There are many more better Korean restaurants around town and this one is a pass for me.

Food was pretty good. We went there twice so far. We did two of the sea food dishes and the broiled ribs. The ribs were slightly on the tough side, but the sauce was great. The octopus was a little tough. Otherwise the food was delicious, and portions are reasonable if you don’t want extra to take home.

Been’ there
Great Korean Restaurant located few blinks north of U Ave. The waiting staff is fantastic. Sometimes they can get very busy and service can be a little slower. You’ll find here some favorite Korean dishes including the raw beef, spare ribs or iron pot soups. Then you got to try Dolsot Bibimbap that rice on the bottom get very crispy. The Beef Bulgogi always is king but you can get the pork belly or even the pork that’s cooked in a spicy sauce
