Tonight was the first time we have been to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. It was VERY good. We had a meatball pizza, margherita pizza, a Brooklyn bridge pizza, and an espresso after pizza. We enjoyed every bite! The espresso was delicious. Service was great and everyone was friendly. Would have given the place 5 stars except for the price… It is a little expensive.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Caeser salad ($8) was really good and enough for 4. But the garlic white sauce pizza was disappointing. We asked for grilled chicken and spinach, they put plenty on it but the pizza was extremely dry. The mozzarella was too chewy and the crust wasn’t great. I would rate them lower but maybe it was just a bad pizza combo we chose. But for $19, a 12″ pizza shouldn’t disappoint like this one did.

Great quality pizzas. They were pleased when I knew that it was a big Basil leaf in the middle of our pizza. Hand tossed coal fired pizza is definitely worth trying, if you love pizza. The taste is vastly better than the “normal” ovens other places use. The staff are very courteous and friendly. I always see them with smiles on the faces.

We were so so excited to try this place. The reviews seemed good and we love NY style pizza. So disappointed. Two large pizzas ended up being $54. The crust was burnt. We know it’s brick/charcoal.. It wasn’t that flavor. This was straight black spots turned to dust burnt. The toppings tasted old and dry except where it was covered in bland sauce and soggy. Basically we paid an outrageous amount of money for pizza no one wanted to eat and I eventually tossed over half. Save some money and disappointment and head up the street to Sam’s. It’s better pizza for a much better price.

I had given this restaurant 5 stars when we ate there the first time a few months ago. We figured the quality was worth the high price. We ate there this evening. Since we always order the same pizza, it’s easy to monitor quality and consistency. Less topping and over-cooked. $19 for a 12″ pizza borders on obscene not to mention the $9 salad. Although big enough for two, something that is 75% lettuce for 9 bucks is a bit much. It was good, but far from the best Mediterranean salad I’ve had and paid less. The turnover in staff is high and the last 2 times, no better than average. No napkins or utensils until we asked for them, tardy with refills on drinks, no offer to serve the pizza. As far as I’m concerned, they are charging 5 star prices for 3 star food and service. You don’t pay these prices for average anything.

I have been a big fan of Grimaldi’s pizza for many years, so of course I was ecstatic that one finally opened so close to my house! I’ve been to this location several times both for dine in and take out and the service has been great! The customer service is amazing, and they make things right on the off chance something does go wrong. If you like pizza (I mean that should be everyone!), go get you some from here – you won’t be disappointed!

My family & I had a taste for some good ole italian pizza, food was a great proportion. Pizza was pretty good besides the cheese; (very thick, once it
cools down the cheese got hard) however, our waitress Damani was great! She was very friendly, attentive to all our questions & comments. I highly
recommend you going to see her. Overall service, cleanliness, knowledgeable of the menu & food was good.

Best pizza I’ve had in as long as I can remember. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t always eat the crust. At this place, I don’t leave a single nibble of crust behind. I doubt I’ll ever try anything else on the menu other than the pizza. Service was great. Prices are good too. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.

It was my birthday, was given a free large pizza. I paid $4 for half meatball and the other half sausage. The wait staff was great, however the pizza was HORRIBLE! The crust was burnt, the topping was soggy. I had to scape the topping off to eat it and put powdered cheese on it. The sauce was groce, now I’m sitting here not feeling so good. I had planned to go before my birthday to check this place out but all I got was confirmation of disappointment, will not be going back. I will continue my search for great pizza. Right now Pizza Hut is the winner for me right now..
