Came here and was in the mood for middle eastern food. I started things off with hangover burger, the patty had so much flavor I enjoyed it! We also got a lamb shank to try over rice and it was so flavorful. We also got a Turkish Potato stuffed with veggies and chicken shawarma. Really good ! My favorite item on the menu was the double trouble wrap where it came with chicken and beef shawarma! Super yummy ! Also the baklava with Ice cream in between! So definitely coming back here !

Saw the ads and decided to try,was advised with meat shawerma, the meat was cut and put in a tray that should keep food hot or warm, the guy assured me that they just cut it so it’s fresh and hot, and so I said ok.
The tortilla was wrapped and put on the grill to toast the outside.
The small metal tray came with the cut shawerma tortilla and fries I grapped some ketchup from the service counter with the straw.
Now the out side looked good and hot while the meat was cold not even warm and I looked for pieces that did not have pickles or sauce on them so that will make them cooler.
Fries was ok, but the ketchup had sticky weird substance on the outside,I do not know what is it but Don not think it comes this way.
Overall, tastes like meat with sauces and no shawerma flavor.
The cold meat inside with toasted hot outside is a big turn off.

First off, there are a lot of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurants in the area. That said, I’m so glad we picked Mr Shawarma! We had the hangover burger(beef and lamb patty with egg) combo with beef shawarma fries. The burger was huge, and oh so delicious! Juicy, flavorful, filling, it even had a right bun/patty ratio. The shawarma fries topped off a great combo. The guy took pride in his creation and it definitely showed.

I went there last night to the new store location and tried a couple of times. The location and the restaurant are really nice. They are not fully opened yet and only doing takeouts at the moment, but will be fully open by the end of the month with tables for dine-in option. The burger is as always, super flavorful, meaty, delicious, but they have a new item called Kumpir and it’s amazing! It’s a baked potato that they cut in have and mix with butter and cheese and you get to add toppings of your choosing on it! It’s delicious and highly recommend you try it.

Was walking in the area and found this restaurant. Very nice staff. The woman at the front was very nice and gave me a free drink fresh salad good size portions highly recommended.

So my son, my grandson and I were at the El Cajon car show last night. On the way there I saw the sign for Mr. Shawarma’s restaurant. It intrigued me as I had heard of swawarma’s before but never tried them. When we finished at the show, I asked my son to drive us over to Mr. Shawarma so that we can try out the food. When we arrived and walked in, the first thing I noticed was how clean the resturant was. To my left there were three large video displays showing the menu options and pictures of the food.
Rather than to try to figure out what all of the options were, I approched a gentleman who I believe to be the owner of the establishment. I informed him that this was our first time here and what he recommended.
He highly recommended the Chicken shawarma and the beef/lamb shawarma. I was torn between both and then he said that I could have a combination of both of them along with a salad. I went ahead and selected the combination with the salad. There were several options for salad dressing and after hearing all of the choices, I finally asked him to make the salad that way he would make it for himself. My son ordered the Mr. Shawarna fries with beef and we ordered the children’s fried chicken for my 2 year old grandson.
When the food arrived at the table, it was hot and fresh. My order came with two types of sauces for the two types of meat that I had ordered. Both were excellent, the shawarma and the sauce. It was very good. The salad was a complete surprise to me. I’m the type that usually just eats the lettuce and cucumbers but pick off the onions, the tomatoes and everything else. This salad was loaded with all of that but it was the pomegrante dressing that made the entire salad taste great!! I ate the entire salad. So 5 out of 5 stars for my combo plate.
My son had the Mr. Shawarma fries. He too said that it was delicious and he too gave it a 5 out of 5 stars. The surprise of the evening goes to my grandson’s plate. He had the fried chicken. Just when you think that you can’t improve upon fried chichen, this place suprised us. Both my son and I kept picking at the child’s fried chicken. It was extemely good. 5+ stars for the children’s chicken.
Honerable mention to the young lady working there as well. She was very attentive to our requests and her customer service skills and work ethics were off the chart.
As you can see, we really enjoyed our eating expereince here at Mr. Shawarma’s. We will be back again for sure.

Yum!! I loved my Mr. Shawarma fries!! It was bomb. Their chicken is really good and their ingredients taste fresh. They offer coke & pepsi products. Really friendly service and a ton of fans! When we walked up a regular said how amazing they were. It was $20 for 2 meals and a drink. Huge portion of fries. This is a spot to definitely try!
