I’ve been coming to their Edmonds location since 2015, and for the past several years I’ve been frequenting this Bellevue location. That alone should say a lot. This is one of those places I keep coming back to because the food just hits every time.

Must-order: the crispy chicken in spicy sauce. The exterior is perfectly crispy, and when you pair it with the tangy, fragrant sauce, it’s seriously addictive! I always ask for extra sauce. You can also make it a full meal by adding rice with tomato egg stir fry and corn for just a small additional fee, which is 100% worth it.

Another favorite is the green beans, packed with garlic and dried shrimp that give it such a satisfying umami punch. The salted egg prawn is also a standout, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a rich, creamy salted egg yolk sauce that’s full of flavor. I’ve tried plenty of other dishes over the years that aren’t pictured here, and overall they’ve been consistently good.

The only dish I wouldn’t recommend is the oyster pancake. It’s not very Taiwanese-authentic, and even my parents weren’t fans. That said, everything else I’ve ordered has been solid.

Service is always friendly and attentive, and don’t skip the drinks. The cookie milk tea and pudding milk tea are my go-tos and never disappoint.

Overall, this is a spot I’ve trusted and loved for years, and I’ll definitely keep coming back!

The popcorn chicken was great, but everything else was nothing special. Good for a family meal, service just OK. Would come back just for the popcorn chicken. We came later in the evening and they were not able to serve the individual hot pot dishes.

Very authentic taiwanese food! I think I would’ve liked the eggplant cut length wise instead of sliced. The beef and chives was pretty good, but I liked the bamboo shoots the most

I wish the shrimp fried rice was real shrimp not the dried sakura shrimp. I had high expectations for pork chops and they have the same texture as tonkatsu but with less tastier sauce.

Not sure about all these good reviews. The service was rushed; dishes were too rough and they were not what they were called; pepper with all the seeds still there?

Took my mom here for lunch after a conference. We were surprised by the tea served in to-go cups, but it was perfectly good tea.
I knew we were in for a good time when I saw pig intestine on the menu. I got the chicken instead.
It was delicious. Spiced just right, velvety and tender. It was bone-in, which I don’t mind and sometimes actually prefer, but if you don’t like that maybe get something else.
Mom got a noodle dish which was the perfect level of spice. We left full and happy.

great food authentic to taiwan. the salt and pepper shrimp with shells on!, noodles, and kidneys in sesame oil are awesome. their taiwan beef noodle soup is good but not a standout. yum.

simple setting. very efficient staff.

Overall a different experience.

We came here on a whim and unsure if we’ll come back. Wouldn’t say no but not my first choice.

Everything tasted good but nothing was blow your mind good.

One person was vegetarian so we opted for the chives with pork and substituted the pork with tofu. There was barely any tofu in there. Not sure what the pork portion would have been.

Crispy chicken with special sauce was a bit of a letdown since the sauce made the bottom of the chicken soggy and was actually a little on the sweet side

The special prawns with a salty egg coating was good as was the steak sizzler.

Make it a meal instead of just adding rice since that extra 50 cents gets you a small side of corn and a small side of scrambled eggs. The eggs were really good in a ketchupy tomato sauce.

Solid Chinese food, always get the crispy chicken in special sauce. Though I wouldn’t mind if they made it a little spicier. More chilis would be nice.

Great taste, and value for money during this inflationary market!

It’s been awhile since I visited (pre pandemic) and I expected smaller portions or reduced taste, as is common with many restaurants these days. That being said I was pleasantly surprised when visiting on a Friday night, The server is polite and quick as well. We had enough food for 2 of us that we had to get a to go box, which, was also of very high quality.

If you’re in the good for fried chicken, get the popcorn chicken set, otherwise marinated chicken is flavorful. The “lions head” 狮子头 is very tasty and much larger than nearby places serving this!
