I took my family there yesterday (2-26-2026). My husband had always talked about going to Smokey Joe’s, so I wanted to make him smile.
Well, there was nothing to smile about. Our waitress was nice enough, but didn’t check on us like she should have . We felt ignored. Then, we received our ribs. The flavor was excellent, but the ribs were not tender. For the price, they were a big disappointment.
The mimosas were the best part of our meal.
I do not recommend this place at all.

I asked if there were any specials and was told no, so I ordered mozz sticks, fish and chips and hubby had chicken fried steak with eggs. It was a lot of food but disappointed that my fish had freezer burn. It was hard to chew, it wasn’t soft, moist and flaky. I ate the fries and we left. Looked like they were understaffed because of a couple of 10 tops. Grateful I didn’t order what the table next to us did, they found out later that the brisket was gone(by 4pm was a shocker), heard the table ask about specials and was told about a rib platter… They had the same server..hubby would have taken the ribs if he knew about them… Oops on who’s part? Table ordered chicken fried chicken and got a chicken sandwich… Server didn’t even try to fix their issue. Glad that wasn’t us.. but after their experience, we just asked for our ticket and left. No one was friendly. No one smiled.. they all looked miserable working there. I’ve been in Vegas since 94, this was my first time at Sam’s Town.. definitely will eat before I go there if I go again. Was better off going to McDonald’s next door

Located where the original steakhouse used to be. Aura was an amazing waitress. She talked to us through our entire meal. Arrived at 9:25 (they close at 11) and had a great meal. We enjoyed the New York Steak, The Brisket sandwich, and for an appetizer we had the pub style onion rings (Per my husband’s request). I enjoyed a Lemon Drop, while he had 2 of the cocktail list specialties the Bourbon Smash. The drinks were very well made. Overall found our new date night restaurant. Thank you again Aura!

I dont understand the poor reviews. I was greeted promptly and professionally, seated right away, waitress acknowledged me, and because this was my first time in, she explained the specisls, and whst the favorites were. I chose the brisket sandwich and it did not disappoint. I hope you try it, i must admit i almost didn’t because of the reviews, but I’M GLAD I DID.

This place was amazing we both got the breakfast burrito be prepared it’s 10z the average size of a burrito every bite had flavor and comes with chips and salsa !! Our waiter Janessa was very sweet and attentive !! Atmosphere was very very nice and relaxing especially being that it’s next to the water fall inside Sam’s hotel and gambling !! Thank you guys !!

We were craving fish and chips and had seen a review on YouTube the fish was delicious, crispy on the outside and super flaky on the inside. It was not greasy, the fries were also really crispy and hot. We ordered some onion rings as an appetizer and they were delicious as well. They were not busy and the service was okay. It’s in the Sam’s Town casino and there’s a ton of parking on the street and in the garage. I think next time I am going to try the ribs.

I ordered a philly and asked for them to put cheese only on a half of the philly. Didnt work.
Except for salt, no seasoning on the meat and flat. And on the picture you can see philly is not even filled.
A pepsi without ice. Didnt work. Had more ice then pepsi.
Fries undercooked and soggy.
Baby back pork ribs dried out to almost jerky, no seasoning but covered in bbq sauce.
$50 without tip for that food is not acceptable.
Service was slow in a restaurant with 3 tables filled. No wonder the place is empty.

I must start with I was weary when I saw the 3 star google rating, but took a chance while we were staying at Sam’s. I honestly had a great experience and DELICIOUS food. We went for dinner and had no wait, and promptly was seated in their “outdoor” area where you have basically front row views to the Mystic Falls light show. Loved that off the get go. Our waiter was so kind, patient, and overall fun to have. I had ordered the cheesesteak and a side salad and portion sizes were stellar and taste was impeccable. Wait was quick, but as I mentioned it was pretty chill in there. If we stay at Sam’s again i will most certainly make my way back over to Smokey Joe’s!!

If the wait staff was better than definately more stars. Food that wasnt cold was good. Service was terrible. Dont order appetizers. It will come after your food. If you have several hours you might be ok.

2 dinners and 1 breakfast so far. Fried chicken tenders were awesome. Not to much breading and the mashed taters were real.
Breakfast of dealers choice was a good choice.
I don’t usually rant about a burger but this one was perfect and great flavor.
Carlos my breakfast server made you feel like a guest not just a customer. Mellady (?) my dinner server never left you waiting for anything, checked on you often.
