Was told by a friend about Hector’s on Broadway. I had a vision of this lovely the with amazing Michelada’s and amazing food! We got that plus some!

-Great size portions
-Live music
-waitress came by to check on our drinks multiple times
Thumbs down:
-Floors were super slippery and greasy feeling (although it was raining)
-Leaking ceiling and bucket o’ raindrops
-Live music was super loud we had to yell to talk to each other or wait for the break
-waitress forgot to put in our food order after 30 min of waiting for food
– outside vendors and panhandlers allowed to come in and solicit customers
I might have to try it again when it’s not raining and sit further away from the live band so we can hear each other talk.

Hector’s On Broadway is an ok place, nothing special other than their magical empty your wallet prices
Business is business I get it, but take 10% of your profits since the quarantine and put some outdoor fans or outdoor AC units w/fan like at concerts…

Every time we go to Santa Ana this place is our go-to. Chips are super fresh and they had this creamy jalapeño salsa that was AMAZING. We’ve only been during the day but I imagine dinner and late night get busy. Super cute atmosphere and food is fresh and delicious. Great Margaritas.

I was surprised by my experience. The food is substantially overpriced for what they offer. $30.00 for rice, beans, and shrimp. I’ve dined on better quality food and bigger portions at a steak house for the prices paid. The service was slow and unattentive. It was my friend and I, plus another large party that was there for drinks and probably appetizers. Service was slow. Bad idea to show up hungry.
There was water running into the main hall from the restroom as we walked in. This should have been the indication of what we were walking into.

I haven’t been to Broadway for some time. A great selection of Tequila and Spirits. My special order of Steak Picada and Shrimp was as great as ever. My wife’s had the shrimp enchiladas, excellent! I heard something that they were starting a new special seafood boil that you could custom order. I definitely won’t have to try that next time. The service was great. Staff was friendly as usual. Quality food great portions you get what you pay for. Remember when eggs were $1.50 a dozen.!!!
