Good Boy Hotdogs

I’ve been trying to get here when it was open for years. Every time I drive by on my way out of town I was always after hours. Thankfully today I was just in time! They were amazingly friendly and the hotdogs had exactly the right amount of toppings even though I picked 5 (mustard, ketchup, chili, cheese, onion) she somehow got just enough of each to make it delicious and not messy. Had to try the pulled pork sandwich as well and it was great with slaw and hot sauce. I hope to get back again soon!

Cute little place and loved the hotdog. I was surprised by the location, but admired the ingenuity! Danger Dave had a barbeque sandwich and he loved his also. They even have waiting zones to park at while your food is cooking. You should stop if you are in the area.

6 years worth the wait! I have been traveling past this gem for many years and always want to try a chili dog. I just had a great chili dog with good ratio, yummy chili and a soft potato bun! I would highly recommend and will grab a t shirt on my next trip.

Today was my first time getting a hot dog from here.I have driven by it many times. Man, I’m glad I stopped. It has to be one if the best hot dogs I’ve ever eaten. The chilli is wonderful, the buns were soft. Perfect! Can’t wait to go back. I’ll definitely get another hot dog, but can’t wait to try the BBQ. Thank you for the perfect late lunch.

We were coming in from Texas and we happened to see this place off the road so we turned around and it was the best decision we could have done. The place is very nice and clean the yard is up kept very good but most importantly the hotdogs were the best. The lady attending us was very nice. Definitely a must go to little spot. I also noticed they have pulled pork sandwiches but I regret not trying it.

Very neat little hot dog stand. I’ve passed it a bunch of times and I finally decided to stop. My girlfriend and I got the hot dog and pulled pork sandwich combination which was 6 dollars for each of us. I thought that was a very reasonable price. The hot dog was great. They have lots of topping options, too. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent. It tasted very smokey and was doused in a peppery vinegar with the option of hot sauce and coleslaw all on a hamburger bun. Certainly the epitome of Eastern Carolina style BBQ. I can’t wait to get it again! I hope GB expands that little driveway soon, they’re going to need it!

When I say, I have tried a lot of hot dogs, and most of the states in this country, I am not exaggerating. I have driven by Good Boy Hot Dogs I don’t know how many times, and wanted to stop. I finally did, and they do not disappoint! Absolutely, unequivocally, one of the best hotdogs, I think I’ve ever had! I will be back, and I will bring others!

Got a hot dog and bbq sandwich combo and both were excellent. Very neat place. This lady is the epitome of an entrepreneur and has what may be the shortest ever commute to work. This is a must stop place when coming down 74. Fast, efficient, clean, tasty and ultra neat. Props to the owner for being so creative and resourceful!

Stopped by today on the way home from a Wilmington trip. Great service from very friendly folks. Hot dogs were super delicious! All beef dog with homemade chili and homemade slaw. Steamed Martin hot dog rolls (potato?). My only regret was not getting 3 instead the 2. Thanks folks! We’ll be back…
