We arrived around midnight on a Saturday. There was no line. We were greeted immediately with a smile. The food was ready in less than 15 min. The tacos and quesadillas were LOADED and delicious! There salsa verde is flavorful and fresh. The rice and beans were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning! This is my new favorite late night bite. WAY better than Taco Bell!!

Don’t you just love when you order food but never get it then you try to contact the owner for a refund and are ghosted for weeks. That’s fantastic! Absolutely love how the old owner decided to still conduct business online despite knowing he wasn’t capable of doing that and still to this day has made no effort of issuing out refunds or anything like that. A scammer.

I ordered here from doordash. Half of the order was missing and I had to drive there to get what was missing. I asked them to remake the part of the order that was missing. They then made the burrito wrong and gave me 2 consummate and forgot the Elotitos and I didn’t get any salsa, but I didn’task for it because its usually in the bag. I get that things happen but there are way to many killer places to choose from to deal with this.

We are visiting the area and I felt like Mexican food so we looked up places and Barrio popped up as having good reviews. I don’t normally do reviews but this was honestly the best food I’ve ever had! Their food is all freshly made daily and it was amazing! Not only was the food great but the service was impeccable! We learned it’s family owned and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! We will be eating here every time we are in the area!

there are so many taco places in joliet… idk why you would come here unless you’re stumbling out of a bar. Waited 40 minutes when there was not a physical line for a pastor dinner and there was not a lime, one salsa verde and rice was hard… tacos eh. not worth the money or the wait. paid $15.50

First time customer. The AC was broken in store. Maybe 100 degrees? Burritos are supposed to be huge, spicy and juicy right? Well the Cali Burrito was huge, BUT…. no taste and very dry!!! Was hoping the green or red sauce would help? Nah, bland. Spend your $14 elsewhere……. Closing at 1a.m. May appeal to some people though.

Nice little place. Cool people. I had 1 grill chicken taco because it was pricey. But I was curious and wanted to taste what a $5 taco tastes like. It was dam good, fresh, probably one of the best I’ve had. I would go back but the place is out of my price range right now.

First experience was decent, I ordered the Nachos and an order of Guacamole for a late night family snack. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because the description of the Nachos says that it includes guacamole and my order absolutely did not. I would still recommend the nachos and just wanted to share my experience to manage expectations, and encourage this business to operate consistently. Luckily, we ordered the Guacamole and it’s 10 out of 10. I also love that they are open late!
