On September 21st, earlier in the day, I ordered a double espresso and received what you see in the photos. When they handed it to me, I could hardly believe there was actually anything in the cup. The menu board showed the portion should have been 12 or 16 oz, but instead I got this.
The barista who made and served the drink was rude, and this so-called “extra strong” coffee was barely warm and completely undrinkable. I will never return to this place. It makes me wonder what the owner’s real goal is — just to take people’s money, no matter if the drink is impossible to enjoy or has to be thrown away.

Small cafe in elmhurst close to the train station. It was crowded even during a weekday afternoon. Chairs were not very comfortable. Cold air kept coming in every time the door was opened. Didn’t feel like a private place to hangout and talk.

Went in for the first time recently and was stuck between a PSL and the horchata latte. I asked the barista which she preferred and she said the horchata latte was her favorite and it was the last few days to get it bc their summer menu was ending. I went with her suggestion and it was absolutely amazing! One of the best lattes I’ve had. I don’t live in the elmhurst area but I will definitely be back again. The staff was so friendly and the coffee shop was so cute and cozy and had outdoor seating.

Nice to place to study/ work. I’ve tried their cold brew twice and it was a miss each time. Super bitter and acidic. I appreciate there big selection of gf vegan bakery items 🙂

Lovely atmosphere and fun people watching. Cappuccino can be inconsistent. Sometimes great, sometimes bubbly. Agree w some comments on friendliness of staff. There was one lady taking orders who was always soo … but noticed she’s trying harder to be nice!

Great coffee spot in the downtown area of Elmhurst. Cappuccino and sprinkle cookie were great and was reasonable at under $7 altogether. Staff is nice and helpful. Inside it’s cozy with good decor and outdoor seating available. I just wished they offer espresso but otherwise the cappuccino was great!

This coffee place was out of ligues . Extremely friendly staff. I went for the first time and love every detail of this place. Was cozy with different sitting areas. I had an special drink a pistachio with matcha latte. Was the best I had in a long time. The nutty flavor and not over sweet, was the perfect couple. And I had a brown sugar butter pecan stone. Umm delicious and enough to share. My son had an ice coffee. He said was well made with a bold flavor. My only suggestion is have more tables outdoors. To enjoy the beautiful buildings architecture and the train station across the street. A city vibe and a nice walk to the downtown a plus.

Went here with a “friend.”
I asked for the fancy leaf latte for the pictures and the young gentleman did it right ! Good latte too.
The warmed up goat cheese pastry was tasty.
Super friendly service. They did what they could for seating with the space that they have. It was a nice day so we enjoyed our lattes at the benches right in front of the store and people watched.

I was literally about to walk inside and order a coffee, but the moment I saw their sign banning lawful concealed carry, I turned around and left. That alone told me everything I needed to know about this place — and unfortunately, the hypocrisy only gets worse from there.
The hypocrisy at this shop is unbelievable. Brewpoint Coffee plasters their windows with self-righteous political messages about “inclusion” and “ending discrimination,” yet they proudly discriminate against one of the most thoroughly vetted, law-abiding groups in the entire state: licensed concealed carriers.
To even qualify for a concealed carry license in Illinois, you must pass extensive background checks, maintain a spotless criminal and mental health record, and complete serious training. These are the kind of responsible, model citizens any business should welcome — yet this shop chooses to target and exclude them while pretending to stand for equality. The double standard is stunning.
It’s disgraceful to watch a business preach moral superiority while openly deciding who is “worthy” of service based on their own biased politics. I refuse to spend a single dollar here, and I encourage anyone who values fairness and consistency to do the same. Starbucks and Dunkin’ are right down the street and, unlike Brewpoint, don’t pretend to champion inclusivity while practicing the exact opposite.

I’ve been to Brewpoint many times. It is a perfect place to meet a business colleague or catch up with a friend. The coffee is fresh, well made and tasty.
