This is a long time old standard the never changes its always been a very good restaurant and very palatable.
They used to have two locations one on Woodward near Bloomfield.
The location in Rochester has moved from the plaza it used to be in so please be aware of that. They are now on livernois.
Staff are amazing, and very familiar with gluten allergies. I’ve never had an issue as a Celiac person

My friend and I met for dinner tonight. We were greeted and seated quickly. Service was absolutely super. Food was hot and came out quickly. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Definitely plan to return.

First time at this location and it was so welcoming. The staff was so friendly and efficient too! I did an online order, and my food was ready in no time. The inside seating area looks spacious and was busy. Customers were flying in and out. It was like a festival in there. I also loved the spring roll (vegetarian). I think i have ordered enough for another meal. The restaurant is also in a great location. I can see why the parking space will never be empty during open hours.

Not the cleanest restaurant I’ve been too, the floor was so sticky you could hear every step each person took. The walk to the bathroom is through a hallway loaded with cooking/other suppplies. The food was okay, nothing bad, nothing amazing. Think small town mid Chinese food. Our servers were kind and took care of us quickly.

It started with the waiter being pushy and impatient. Needs to learn, if someone’s face is still concentrating on the menu, they’re NOT ready, and he didn’t need to ask if I was ready every 30 seconds. I ordered general tso’s chicken but it tasted orange and not spicy.

A true Gem of a restaurant. Lunch prices are so reasonable and the food was extremely fresh. I had the sweet and sour chicken and it tasted so yummy. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!! We will be back!!!

Met some friends for a birthday dinner. I got there late as everyone was finishing up but had time to have an egg roll, which was tasty, and shared some others’ “leftovers”. Server didn’t grumble that I came in as everyone was finishing and as we left all the staff we saw thanked us for coming. There were close to 20 of us, including 5 children.

An awful meal at Oceania Inn. Used to have a good reputation years ago. Fried shrimp were nothing but batter. General Tso’s chicken tasted like bbq sauce and almond boneless chicken was served with a lukewarm warm thick yellow pudding. Disgusting dinner. Other family members entrees not memorable either. Service was very good. Will never return.
