Pizza was amazing! My husband can usually eat a whole pizza by himself and here he could only eat half of a small. We did delivery to our hotel so I can’t speak to any atmosphere questions. We honestly wanted to eat it twice in the 4 days we were in the area but never managed to make it back there.

We love Pizza Papalis! We don’t come too often as it’s a bit far away from us, but it is what my mom requests for her birthday every year! We most often order pick up and the service is always very good! Kind and helpful at the pick up counter and of course the food is GREAT! We always get a large deep dish and a salad and it lasts us two to three days (with two people). Ordering online was also a breeze!

These guys are a true Detroit original, yet they’ve absolutely mastered the art of this iconic Chicago pie. The crust, the sauce, the balance of ingredients – everything is spot on and these pies are heavy! I’ve been to a few of their Greater Detroit locations and the quality is always consistent. Only delivery is DoorDash now. That’s fine! Except we want half cheese half pepperoni on a $40 pizza. Called to see if they can. Manager says DoorDash doesn’t have option. Is it that hard? Well 3 pizzas and bread sticks aren’t worth the little hassle I guess. Oh well. Jets it is I guess.

This was the most disgusting pizza I’ve ever eaten. The dough is raw. We didn’t realize it until we ate a few pieces. We just couldn’t eat anymore so if you look at the pictures, four pieces still left and a picture of the raw dough. Sick to my stomach. We’re requesting a full refund. I don’t think the owner would eat this.

My partner & I visited Pizzia Papalis since we were driving home. It’s been a long time since I’ve visited this location. Always forget it’s there.
Due to personal reasons my partner had a salad. I had a PapaCalzone & a chocolate chip cookie.
The Papa Calzone was ok. I usually go for The deep dish pizzia but I wanted to try something new. The chocolate chip cookie size was big, thick & chewy. It would’ve been better if heated but it was good though
