I think this place is the best American restaurant near UMD in terms of both food quality and service. However, the lemontini tasted pretty much the same as a store-bought lemonade and wasn’t very impressive.

I wasn’t expecting a crab ball. The menu said a crab cake. The meals only come with one side. My husband had a steak dinner, that he asked for well done, but it was red. He sent it back, it looked extra crispy, but still was red on the inside, when he cut into it. He left without eating, and I left starving. We had to buy more food to be full. It was such a disappointment for our Valentine Day reservations.

Excellent dining experience! The prime rib was cooked to order, medium well, with enough pink and moisture! Also had the ribeye and it was perfectly seared and had soooo much flavor!!
The ambiance was great and very calm. Service was top-notch and made the entire dining experience first class. Highly recommend making reservations if in the area.

If you want delicious, warm, satisfying value for your time and money, this place fits the bill.
This was our second time visiting this location and I’m happy to report consistency of delicious food and wonderful service.
The vibe is: chill music, excellence from the kitchen, warmness from the wait staff and coolness from the bar.
The drinks were on point, the food fresh and delicious. Thanks to our latest server Olivia who took care of our hunger and our bartender ALLison who definitely is ALL that – great drinks, great gab!!

My friends and I dined at the bar and had a nice time. The food was good and the bartender was kind and engaging even though we arrived less than an hour before they closed as the last handful of remaining guests. I do enjoy dimmer lighting as an ambiance preference during dinner hours but it did not take away from the nice layout and pretty mural in the front dining area. A few sides were missing that we ordered, however it was not that big of deal since I’m an industry manager myself & know how it goes as the night comes to an end. The service overall was still very standard and we look forward to coming back….

I went here on Valentine’s day with my fiance. The waiter was super friendly in a natural way, not a forced way, which I loved to see. It made the atmosphere less stiff. He was also very attentive. I ordered a drink, and the wrong one came out, but I can’t complain too much because it was still an amazing drink. My steak was almost perfect. The flavor is truly heavenly. EVERYONE needs to try the steak. My only small issue was that it was a bit too rare. The asparagus was fantastic, no complaints. The toffee pudding is to die for. The small mistakes were barely an issue; I still had a wonderful night here. I absolutely would come back.

Jillian was a fantastic server. Very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made the experience! The food I would give a solid 8/10 and would recommend to someone. Love that it is a scratch kitchen and that they were willing to accommodate any food allergies that I had. The restaurant was very convenient as someone staying in The Hotel @ UMD. I appreciated the late night hours.
