Awesome bakery . Their cupcakes are fluffy and not too sweet. I liked the apple cinnamon and confetti birthday one the best. The fruitcake is delicious too ( don’t hate on the fruit cake. This one is really good!).

We’ve gone to both the New Lenox and Mokena locations many times, and we are always very happy with our orders & the service. We regularly get their donuts, cookies, mini cheesecakes, and muffins for breakfast. They’re friendly and helpful when we come in, often asking my husband if he needs help getting to the car when he has our boys. I love their website, user friendly with plenty of options & inspiration. They make it easy to order for any occasion. Highly recommend either location.

When I arrived around 8:15 AM on a Fri., there were 3 people ahead of me in line and people kept arriving after me. The phone rang nonstop, yet the staff never appeared frazzled. They were very friendly as they waited on customers and answered the phone. I purchased 1/2 dozen donuts, and everything was fresh and of good quality. I highly recommend.

Was looking for a doughnut spot in the area, specifically glazed as I went to 2 other donut spots prior and they were out or didn’t have them. Came across fleckensteins on google And so I called in advance to make sure that they had glazed. When I came in, the lady working had already had a box prepared for me how considerate . I really only came for glazed, however Everything looked so good I couldn’t help myself. I got three glazed, one old-fashioned glazed, a strawberry danish strawberry, strawberry cheese, and cherry. Two Boston creams and a lemon and raspberry cookie. My favorite had to be the danish or the Boston cream. The glazed were super soft and fresh. The danishes had a good amount of filling and the Boston crème was very generously filled. For 18$ for almost a dozen pastries of this size I thought it was a steal. Service was good and the packing was sealed tightly for me to take on the road. Would recommend to anybody in the area. Support your local businesses!

However, only this time I’ve noticed that the taste was different and the texture was terrible, each bite was tasteless and very crumbly. I never had any negative reviews about this place up until now, I’m just glad I didn’t purchase a dozen as I almost did.

Stopped by at 330pm on a Wednesday and the racks were pretty much full with pastries. Picked up Cinnamon rolls and Apple friders. Both were excellent . If you’re traveling tru stop in and pick up something.

I saw this bakery while driving by and I thought now there’s a place that’s got some class from the sign outside to the painted walls. I was very excited to try this bakery and when I did let me tell you I was not disappointed the donut journey alone is worth a trip.
