The food is so fresh and tasty. I can recommend the ceviche, the tacos, the burritos, the huaraches personally. The beans are AMAZING if a bit salty. I added jasmine rice when I got home and made a soup for the next 2 days. The tortilla chips are freshly made and the salsas are homemade. Surprisingly, no barbacoa, but I know Chef would do it up right if he added it to the menu. (Hint) And, they are so busy on Sundays, they cannot wrap burritos. Open 10-8 every day.

There’s nothing quite like the thrill of seeing patrons eagerly lined up at the door, ready to experience an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere buzzes with warmth and charm, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. The food? Absolutely mouthwatering, bursting with flavor in every bite! And don’t even get me started on the service—friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

I love this place with my whole heart. I’ve been coming here for YEARS and it’s consistently amazing, the chicken, pastor, lengua, steak, literally all hits. I’ve also tried a torta once and i remember it also being good. The chips and salsa are top tier also and the whole vibe in there is great the employees are all so so nice. If this place ever closed idk what I would do with myself. I’m excited to try the carne asada plate next time it looked so good today ily poblanita

Great service, excellent authentic food, unique and relaxing casual environment. I highly recommend. Drove 45 min to eat at this delightful little hidden gem. Wish I lived closer, I would eat there all the time. The portions are very generous as well. I ordered one item and still took home enough food to have a second meal.

Bad service.
I couldn’t sit with my son inside because he was eating a happy meal.
Never going back to this place terrible service
Basically Owner said it was not her problem it did not matter.
I will never head back here definitely recommend 100% sabor de puebla.

I’m definitely taking my money elsewhere sometimes people make exeptions but as owner you didn’t care to loose service just because a baby is picky.

We have looked all over SWF. This is the best and most authentic Mexican food. If you are a Chilis or El Torito chain fan don’t come here because this is legit Mex Food.

Some of my favorite Mexican food in SWFL, maybe all time. Our waitress talked with us and explained everything throughly. The food was amazing, the Lengua is to die for!

Will definitely be a return customer.

Locals place, and mostly frequented by Latin folks looking for a taste of home, which is always a good sign in a place like this. The tacos were a little over-seasoned and a bit salty, but otherwise first rate. Seat yourself, and grab a beer or other beverage out of the racks before you sit down. That’s the process. Enjoy!

Legit Mexican Food!
We were out and about the other day and had an urge for some tacos or similar. I did a little internet search and found La Poblanita. Reviews sounded good so we gave it a try. This place is great! It’s located in a strip mall. You enter into a large room with many tables and chairs. To the right is a massive cooler filled with all sorts of beers, waters, sodas, etc. and you serve yourself. Bottle openers are on the tables. To the front left is a cashier stand. On the back wall is a series of menu boards showing what is available and prices. A server brought out a basket of tortilla chips and a trifecta of salsas. The darker orange salsa surely had chipotle peppers in it as it had a wonderful smokiness to it and not to spicy. The other two had some serious heat, too much for us. I ordered a small/regular size Michelada ($5.99) and my wife pulled a bottle of water (99 cents) from the cooler. Most of the patrons were drinking the Micheladas, many with the super sizers – maybe a liter. My Michelada came out with a nice jumbo shrimp and cucumber slice garnish and the rim had been dipped in tahin. What a surprise to see the shrimp! We both ordered burritos – my wife chose al pastor (pork) and I opted for steak ($14.99 ea.). Out came some serious burritos accompanied with a small, undressed salad of crisp lettuce, tomato and cucumber. The burritos are LOADED with meat, and just the right amount of rice, cheese, cilantro and onion. My steak was extremely tender, not chopped up into super small pieces as is typical. And the flavor was some of the best steak I’ve ever had. Likewise, my wife’s al pastor was the best she had ever had. We could only eat half and brought the other half home for lunch the next day. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. In one visit we became fans and will go back soon.
