DISCLAIMER: I’m honored to be a Top 10 Reviewer for Google. I do my best to be fair and honest but realize your experience may differ from mine. So, please keep that in mind when considering this restaurant, establishment, and/or venue. REVIEW: I love Goldies. However, this location wasn’t a great experience for me. There was only one other table with customers, yet, the service was lacking. I ordered the Goldies original with fries, slaw and a beverage. It took 20 minutes to receive the food. The coke slaw tasted old and the fries were lukewarm at best. Only saw the server when I ordered, when the food was served, and when she brought the ticket to check out. My drink glass sat empty through most of the meal. I’ve found the best Goldies still around to be in Pryor. It’s well worth a 45 minute drive from Tulsa. Will not be returning to the Goldies in Broken Arrow.

The only thing good was the burger itself. Fries were room temperature. A friend with us got mashed potatoes that were ice cold in the middle. We waited 20 minutes for the server to take our drink order. The server forgot our appetizer. My daughter got a taco salad with beans on top that were ice cold. Our drinks were empty when the appetizers came, 45 minutes later when our meals were “ready” the server finally came back and asked if we wanted refills , then only returned another 15 minutes later after we here all done eating with refills. Out of the whole place 5 tables had people at them and we overheard the servers talking to each other how they couldn’t believe how busy it was. Absolute trash, id give 0 stars if I could…. food gets 2 stars since the burger was actually decent. The people at the table next to us even said before leaving that they thought about telling us to choose a different spot when we walked in and then wished us luck as they left.

I would have given this a negative star if I was able to. We stopped in here as a group of 7 because Billy Rays BBQ had a wait. The place was not very busy so there was no excuse for how slow the service was. It took almost 30 minutes just to get our drinks which came out with our appetizers. Our dinners took another 45 minutes to get and was cold by the time we got it. The food is way overpriced for what you get. McDonald’s cheeseburger would have been better than this place. Also 75% of the restaurant was empty which should have been a clue.

We were there tonight. While the food was okay, the service was not. Our server didn’t seem to care for us in any way shape or form. I explained to her that I wanted to order more food for my son and husband, and the second I said it, she steered clear of me. She never came back to take my order for them and only came back when they walked in.
I left before my husband and son. Husband just came home and told me that once she dropped off the food and check, she also never once came back to the table.
I’m so disappointed. Not sure why she treated us this way but she seemed fine with everyone else. If you want to discriminate or simply be annoyed with us, do better and not show it. We will absolutely not be back.

I have been watching the parking lot at Goldies for a while. The business seems to be doing fair. There is a huge discrepancy in the rating. Yelp has a sad rating of 2.4 (36 reviews) while Google reviewers seem to like Goldie’s better awarding it with a 4.1 rating (650 reviews). I have found that more reviews usually provide a better assessment of the business’s actual performance.
The nostalgia for a Goldie’s charburger, was stronger than the fear of a bad dining experience. My last experience at the Goldie’s in Pryor was great. So, I’m in for giving the BA store a try.
We had a new waiter. He was inefficient and fumbling a little here and there, but overall, it worked out. The pickle bar is gone, in its place the waiter brought a generous bowl of the mixed pickles. Still good like they used to be. The burger was a good thick lean beef patty with the Goldie’s signature char flavor on a toasted bun. Smaller than I remember. A very simple, uncomplicated burger. It came with a leaf of fresh lettuce, several crisp onion rings and a slice of tomato. Decorate it as you please. The fries were perfect. These were the coated fries. They stay crisp throughout the meal; even crisp when they are cold. I thought it was a great meal. I would rate it as better than 75% of the burgers I have had in Tulsa.
The restaurant itself is in desperate need of a reimage and make over. New management is needed. It is time to break from the past. The restaurant is still the dreary gloomy green inside. Most of the diners in the restaurant this afternoon had gray hair, and there like me for the nostalgia of a Goldie’s Char Burger. If you weren’t around when Goldie’s was in its peak …well it is hard to explain the draw.

I decided to take my girlfriend to lunch for her first time at Goldie’s for lunch. I told her how much I like Goldie’s and that she would enjoy the yummy pickles. I don’t go to the Broken Arrow location too often but I figured it would be similar to the others.
We ordered our food and it came in a timely manner. The waitress was very nice and attentive.
When we got our food, I immediately noticed my hamburger was tiny. Then I noticed how dirty my plate was (unlike my friends plate which was very clean).
Keep in mind, this is a $12.95 burger. I was pretty disappointed.

Dec 2021. Great experience in Broken Arrow! No pickle bar these days. I assume that that’s a result of COVID. Our server happily brought us a bowl of pickles though. I wish I could remember the server’s name because she was excellent. She had multiple tables, maybe all of them, and she was killing it. Made me the best Arnold Palmer I’ve had in a long time and didn’t seem annoyed by the special drink request. Dinner was delicious, as always. I should have ordered mine medium instead of medium well, I don’t know what I was thinking. It came out more like well done but it was still delicious because of that special seasoning. Overall, very pleased and will remember to eat here more often because it’s always been a great choice.

Chili cheese fries were cold. Chicken fried steak was clearly a pre-frozen slab. The frozen was so thick it was just a gelatinous blob. My husband had the jalapeno burger. He had to stop twice before we got home to use the restroom. He missed work the next day because he was so illl. Unfortunately we will not be returning.
