My salad was fresh, large portion, lots of variety of veggies, breaded chicken that tastes awesome, fries, and something very important to me—- the homemade ranch is so good! This salad beats any salad you can order delivery for around Washington and that’s saying a lot cause I’ve eaten a lot of salads!!
The pizza is so good too! Not too greasy and perfectly baked !! I loved the hot pepper cheese balls as well cause they seem homemade (I think they are!) cause they are just better than other cheese balls. Since I wasn’t in the store I didn’t see the atmosphere but I will say the customer service over the phone and with the delivery driver was great. The my even got my order exactly right! My order came quicker than they even said, too. Overall, this is why I gave 5 stars. So glad I tried them! To all of you at fat Angelo’s —THANK YOU THANK YOU
My first experience with them was on the day we closed on our house. We were driving to the home with our keys in hand for the very first time, and the entire area had lost power from a severe thunderstorm the night before. Most businesses were closed. We drove past Fat Angelo’s and saw that they were open, so we stopped in for a quick bite before stepping into our new home. They were incredibly accommodating with the circumstances and let us know they could only make hoagies since they had no power. Those hoagies ended up being our first meal in our new house, and they were amazing.
Naturally, we came back once everything was back to normal and tried their pizza. It instantly became our favorite in the area. Delivery is always fast and reliable, and the food arrives hot every time. We often order from them when we have friends and family over for Steelers games, and now everyone asks for Fat Angelo’s by name. We are excited to try their “Beast” size pizza the next time we host a larger gathering.
Great food, great people, and consistently great service. Fat Angelo’s has earned a loyal customer. Highly recommend.
The very friendly staff had us feeling like we were old friends before our visit ended. Adriana or “A” was our fantastic server.
She answered our questions with genuine knowledge of the offerings on the menu. Our questions from construction to options were answered throughly.
Our choices were two Detroit style, one ½ pepperoni, ½ sausage, and the other cheese with ½ mushroom. The crispy edge was perfect, and the cheddar cheese between the dough and pan really made the flavor of that edge “Pop.” The undercarriage had a nice crisp on the bottom and a pillowy top that had a nice chew and a buttery flavor. The sauce was thick, very fresh, tasting, and lightly seasoned. Ample amounts of terrific tasting cheese with a good “pull” really complemented that crust and sauce. The pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms worked their magic and put these pizzas on my “favorite list.” These were both terrific pizzas and well worth the drive.
The side salad was very good also.
The next visit will include a Cheesesteak, WOW did they look terrific. In-house chipped steak, cooked on a flat top.
Edit: Upped my review to 3 stars. Within minutes of posting the review the manager was calling to resolve the issues. I appreciate that they care and want to make it right, although I have been busy and not gotten around to calling back… It speaks volumes that they called. Also, to be clear, everyone else likes the pizza. There’s nothing at all wrong with the sauce I personally don’t like it is all.
