This Oberweis is a great place in Lincolnwood to enjoy some good quality ice cream, milkshakes and more. Great for couples, groups, families and very kid friendly.
Oberweis is known for using high quality Wisconsin dairy.
The staff is young but very courteous and friendly.
There at times may be a wait but not to worry, they will call your order and theres also an Oberweis app that is convenient for ordering ahead.
There is also alot of diff styles of seating from booths and tables to benches to sit and wait for your ice cream.
One thing I especially like is they have outdoor tables as well as tables inside where you can play chess. They also have other board games if you ask for them.
There is ample parking available here.

This was my first time to Oberweis and was truly in for a treat. I was thrilled with the atmosphere, service and most of all the ice cream. Gosh it was the best butter pecan I ever had over the years. I usually eat only half a cone ice cream, but here I ate the whole thing and didn’t even feel overly sweetened. They also have a wide array of ice cream tubs, yogurt, cream cheese, cottage cheese and other dairy products. I highly recommend this place and I am looking forward to visiting this wonderful place again.

Always my favorite place to buy cold deserts. The triple chocolate smoothie. Love this place. Some staffs work here are on a summer job. Coz they kinda lax a bit coz summer season is over. But deserts are still are sweet as a sugar. Would come back again.

Disappointed in their service as I came in today earlier with my friend and decided to have a brownie ala mode with coffee ice cream to dine in.. I was given my sundae in a to go cup .. I think that was weird because I actually used to work in oberweiss and people who dined in for ice cream always got served in glass dishes.. the lady wearing a hijab gave me the ice cream in a to go cup and must have not wanted to clean dishes or something but I think customer service needs to be improved at this location. It was very careless and just shifty service overall. Usually the employees are supposed to greet you as well. Just felt really weird being in there. Would not return to this location ever again

We have come here many times with the kids after an activity, and sometimes have made the trip just to get the ice cream. The prices are really competitive and the ice cream is delicious! They also have their trademark coloring sheets and crayons to keep the kids busy as they wait for the ice cream. During the Winter it’s cozy inside, and in the summer it’s nice to have the option to sit outside. The one suggestion that I have is to make more workers available during peak times because the line can get long at times. Other than that, we’ve had consistently EXCELLENT experiences at this location!

Honey Butter Cashew was fantastic with a bit of gooey-ness from the honey, creaminess of the ice cream, and crunch from the cashew all coming together for a satisfying lick/chomp. A single scoop on a cake cone cost $4.29 which I think we may have been overcharged for (kiddie cone=$2.99), but can’t confirm. Chocolate cake shake (regular=$7.29) is okay, but better at Portillos.
I enjoyed every bite of my ice cream though!
