The restaurant was great, two dining areas and a bar. Many TV’s to watch sports on, beautiful art murals, specialty mexican desserts, very attentive wait staff who were polite and friendly. The amount of food you got for the price was definitely good. The food tasted great and was made fresh. The bad news is the bathroom was overly disgusting and filthy the water pressure for the sink to wash your hands was super low even if you put hot and cold on. I’m surprised how nice the rest of the restaurant was that the mens barhroom was that disgusting. I hope they fix this in the future. Everything else was great.

Best place in CLUTE! Atmosphere is great and lively in the evening. Good is great. Only complaint is the shrimp for the shrimp tacos is frozen bag shrimp. But everything else is top notch.

Staff? Absolutely Amazon. Greeted us as SOON as we walked in. It was self seat.
Within MINUTES we were greeted with a waitress who was very kind.
The margaritas ? *bartenders kiss* gets the job done but not overly strong
Next, the food.. I had the tacos as pictured and they were so good. Seasoned to perfection
My bf had the nachos. Of course I stole some of his and wow his meat was so tender and seasoned great.
Manager came and checked on us after food was brought out to us as well as server.
Overall great service.

Okay how do I get started went there around 8:30 in the morning and only one other customer was there which should’ve been one red flag. The waitress was kind and attentive. So I go ahead and order a coke and I start to drink it and notice small pieces of excrements on the rim of the glass. So after pushing the glass away very repulsively went ahead and ordered menudo which was okayish. I can tell it was watered down and had very little flavor but was edible. But the straw that broke the camels back was I saw something moving in the corner of my eye and there was a roach crawling across the table next to us just minding its own business. Paid check as soon as possible and got out. DO NOT GO!

We had a quick stop in Clute TX so we stepped in for breakfast at El Jimador. Service was great! She checked on us often and very friendly. Food was delicious. We hope to come back soon. We are from Houston.
