This is in regards to the Subway in Merrit Heath Wesley Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. There is frost bite on the vegetables. I took pictures, because she tried to move them around. I let the person know not to give me the frostbite vegetables and she immediately started going off saying it’s not mold (without me saying anything about mold) and it’s not that big of a deal. I asked for the store number and she said she didn’t know it and then when I asked her to print off a receipt (because you can always find the store # on the receipt), she refused to do so. She proceeded to call her manager who was laughing and it was apparent they didn’t care. I decided not to deal with them but to leave a thorough review of the regulations they violated. I will not post all of that here but would like to make sure this review reaches.

My real concern isn’t the lack of customer service, but it is the lack of quality of the vegetables, especially vegetables that are being given to primarily hospital patients and workers. The condition of the food that was given is not safe IAW USDA food and health regulations or Mississippi State Department of Health. This store should be inspected regularly and/or shut down.

Today my husband took my daughter for lunch to her favorite restaurant after speech therapy. We’ve been going there after her therapy sessions once to twice a week for the better part of a year now. My daughter is autistic and routines are very important to her. My husband was accused of stealing milk from their fridge. I’ve paid for the milk and forgotten to grab it from that fridge several times and never said a word. It didn’t cost enough to bother with. They also charged us for individual items instead of combo meals. Then they didn’t have any cookies. I’ve worked in the hospital where the restaurant is located since 2018. My husband didn’t ask for a receipt because we’ve been there so many times that we trusted them not to treat us like this. Yet here we are. My daughter is completely disregulated even now as I write this statement. Tbh I’m not sure how I’ll handle this when I return to work. This was supposed to be my day off. My husband said that the girl that did this is a new employee. I’d rather deal with the intermittent closing of the store than to have your employee treat my family like this.

My neice was born last night and the first thing my sister in law wanted was subway. When I entered the store London greeted me and and struck up a conversation with me. I had to come in again not too long after for my own meal and we continued to chitchat and she asked about the baby and I was so excited to share details with her. Our food was made to spec both times and we enjoyed every bit of it. Because of her kindness, wonderful service, and care making our food ill be eating here for the rest of our stay here. It was a big deal for me to be able to encounter a friendly face after such a big life event. Thankyou!

I ordered for the first time through DoorDash and expected my sandwich to be soggy by the time it arrived. I was amazed that it was wrapped perfectly with the right amount of sauce and fresh as ever. Amazing quality and taste! Will definitely order again.

Called ahead and placed an order to pick up after work. When I got there, I walked to the end by the register to pick up my sandwich that was already bagged and ready. Both workers ignored me & proceeded to check out 4 people and would not check me out. When I asked if I could go ahead & pick up my sandwich, they still refused to stop & check me out. I told them I was the one that called ahead & I should be able to just pick it up & not to wait for 4 people behind me. The younger worker rudely said, “well, you gone just have to wait til I’m done!” I did not deserve to be treated so rudely! These workers clearly were intentionally rude, & I reacted a lot more nicely than most people would have. I work at Wesley, & I am ashamed that we have this kind of representation of our hospital.

The Subway restaurant inside of Merit health Welsey has the worst employees in the evenings that I have ever seen for as long as I’ve been eating there. They look at you like you’re disturbing them from scrolling on their phones and always have attitudes. I don’t go in there often anymore because of this but it’s sad that people who visit the hospital have to deal with this. Oh and for some reason every Thursday evening the badge reader for employees to use to pay for meals is always broken.

Tonight 09/28/2022 the three young ladies working were the most professional, friendly, quick and the list can go on. I wish every subway had young ladies like these. Even though I’m sure they have unpleasant customers at times and tired, you would never know it at 2:30 till the end of there shift. Kudos to this ladies. I pray they see this and yes I told them face to face they were amazing!

The young man working here did not seem very happy to get out of his chair to help me. I asked what the sandwich of the day was and he said, “I don’t know.” I had to figure it out on my phone. My sandwich was wrapped and ready when the next customer came in. He proceeded to go back and make his sandwiches before checking me out. I was never impolite and obviously had my hands full with a handicapped child in a wheelchair. I couldn’t understand the seemingly purposeful lack of assistance.
