My first time trying the chicken here and the skin was super salty. Meat inside was good though. But I won’t be coming back here. Not a good first experience.
Biscuit was good and for some reason the rice and beans had a weird smell.

Got everything we wanted! Great fried chicken, potato wedges, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and a corn dog!

Oddly enough, the chicken actually tasted pretty decent for being “gas station chicken” lol. In comparison to Chick-Fi-La, KFC, Popeyes, etc, this would probably be at the lower end of that list due to the size of the chicken thighs and drumsticks, but yeah… It definitely doesn’t compare to Fire Wings and Wing Stop type places, but exceeds the standards of “gas station food”… I hope that makes sense. I give it a true 3.5, but will round it up to 4. If you’re ever in the mood for easy access chicken and you happen to be pumping gas, why not? Lol!

Stopped here to grab some breakfast on the way out for a long drive and Sue was the one to help me. She was beyond nice and very helpful. I give her customer service a 20/10. She was very attentive and offered all the sauces.

This location is on the way to drop off my kid at school, but it is also a gas station, has a wide array of drinks, Thrifty ice cream, and Krispy Krunchy Chicken. We get coffee and donuts beforehand, and the chicken is always good.

I had heard different stories about this place so I decided to check it out. I was not disappointed! The chicken is DELICIOUS!! The honey biscuits are too! My sides were red beans and rice and jambalaya. They were ok. I will be going back to try some other side dishes and I will definitely get more than two biscuits!

Chicken is pretty good, still moise, comparable to Popeyes. Not warm enough though. Price is way better than Popeyes.
Update 11/2023, quality of the fried chicken is hit and missed. Some days good, some day over fried, some day not warm at all, some day salty. 50/50. I gave up.

The workers here are very kind, and the food is great. Remember, you’re buying from a gas station. This isn’t kfc, this isn’t Raising Canes. Have the right expectations, and you’ll be rewarded with a great meal that’s very cheap. Also, head over to the ice cream section in the back and you’ve got everything you need for Netflix and chill.
