They don’t make these like they used to – a bonafide family diner with a quiet, community-focused vibe, a traditional bacon & eggs breakfast (which came with amazing hashbrowns, which were actually fries but grilled… amazing!) The breakfast came in a larger portion than I expected, the bacon was real bacon done nicely, and the staff were really fun. Thanks for an excellent breakfast, Jim!

First time being here, chicken burger had zero seasoning, burger was ok ish, it was kinda sweet and had cinnamon which caught me off guard. The poutine was probably the best part of the meal and it didn’t have a tonne of flavor either. I won’t be returning but glad I tried it…i think

We stopped to grab a clubhouse sub. Very good, fresh bread not to heavy. Way better then Subway. Keep it local, I’d rather go to mom and pop restaurants then chains. We called in our order on our way home, perfectly timed.

I know prices have gone up across the board, with that said why is it that when you accept that and continue to eat out we find ourselves getting smaller portions.
I went out last night for a very consistent meal and after ordering I find that my burger tastes like either the burger or the chili has a burnt taste. The looking into the burger to investigate I see that I have more bun than burger. Not what I was expecting as the prices have gone up since my last visit.
The chili fries that my son have grown to love was underwhelming, half the chili we have received in the past.
This is not just my review, this is the review of the party I went with.

They re-heated fries from the day before, without a doubt. The grease was a pool on my plate. Burger was good. Could have done without the 3 people smoking crack and drinking beer on their patio. Cook or owner actually waved them on in to take their order so clearly, they didn’t care either.

Feeling hungry after a morning out and about town. We stopped in for a late lunch. I’m pleased that we did. Excellent friendly servce. Extensive menu to suit all tastes. Dated atmosphere yet clean and bright. I got the reuben platter. Reubens are very specific and they nailed it with ample corned beef. Lots of fries. The greek salad was amazing. I’m sure there was a whole tomato and almost too much feta cheese. Three of us ate for well under 60$ which included drinks. Outstanding value for such good food. Thank you.

An excellent place to grab food, stop in or have delivered! Fantastic subs and hand cut fries. They have an excellent Greek salad and their fries, cheese and gravy (it is called this because it is not poutine: made with sliced cheese) is also really good for the price and what it is.
People who complain “it’s not poutine” should note it’s called fried cheese and gravy for a reason and not called poutine at their restaurant.
