We had a late night hankering for some wings and pizza. We always like to try new places so here we are. The person at the register was plenty friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a small personal pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni, thin crust. Probably the best pizza I’ve had this year! That sauce is amazing and cooked to perfection. Next one will be thick crust.
Chicken wings: Here’s where the failure was. I always order them naked as they’ll loose their crispyness, on the way home, if they’re sauced. 3 flats and 7 drums were overcooked. The garlic Parmesan tasted weird and the BBQ sauce didn’t make it into our bag. I know it was close to closing but that grease needed changing.
I’d like to bump this place to 4 stars, but they’ll have to get the wings right.

The worst pizza I ever had. It had no sauce or flavor. I added multiple toppings and it’s hard to explain what they did but you can see the attached picture. Not ordering again !

I come from Cleveland Ohio where there’s a large Italian population and we have some of the best pizzerias so we are spoiled about what good pizza is. This is good pizza!
It’s the first time I ordered…last night on their website and not sure why, but the order went through to a different store 12 mi away. They let me reorder there and they refunded my money from the other store with no hassle. Not only do they make great pizza but they’re great people and are genuinely concerned the customer has a great experience. Thank you IL primo You have a lifelong customer!
Also if you’re not aware they have a large, nice sit down area in there.

Having been in the pizza buisness for over 25 years personally, makes me a serious critic of lesser quality places. Il Primo sets the bar for high quality, portioned correctly, absolutely delicious pizza. I make it a must have during our annual trip to visit family here in North Port, and they nail it every time.

WOW! I cannot say enough great things regarding this establishment. The food is not only fresh but prepared in a very timely manner!! THE WINGSSSSS are so good! I ate the whole order on my family! This store does a lot of good in the community as well, doing a kids night every wednesday! if you haven’t been here, check it out! The Gm is also amazing! This is a good run of the mill wings and pizza joint. The pizza was as good as what you would get just about anywhere. It was good, it just wasn’t exceptional. I also had winds. They were good, well cooked with good sauce options. I didn’t drink any beer but the had Stella and Modelo on tap which is excellent. The lighting was a little too bright and there were tvs playing with no sound and no music so it wasn’t a great atmosphere. It seemed more fast foodish because of that Iin stead of a good local pizza hang out place. Great outdoor seating but underutilized. If you have your own large group, this is a great place, sit outside and bring your own tunes. It is a step up from domino’s or little Ceasars but not a date place. It is a feed the family place.

1/6/26 we were there around 7 pm and not so good. Placed our order no problem, garlic bread ready she just called out our name, good thing Hubs was with me as I could barely hear her. Next she called out for our pizza some else took our pizza. So they rushed ours and it was singed in places and the crust was very well toasted. Didn’t say anything to them as it was just two people working and seemed put out that people even came in. I’ve been sending messages on messenger but no response after almost two weeks. Tried comment on your website but it requires a order number which I don’t have so I can’t leave anything there. Just thought I’d let you know service wasn’t up to par. All the times we’ve been here they have always brought us out our food.

Love this pizzeria. The staff is great, the guys really go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied and that your dine in experience is nothing but exceptional. Being originally from Buff, NY. These wings remind me a lot of typical Buffalo wings, not them steroid injected chicken wings now a days. The pizza is delicious, very similar to NY pizza. This is my go to pizza place.
