Had a great experience trying their weekend lunch buffet. Going for the sushi alone is worth the ticket. Highly recommend the spicy chicken & beef, delicious seasoning and sauce. The fried rice was veryy tasty and fluffy, as well as the fresh fried shrimp. We were absolutely satisfied by the selection. The crab legs were a nice surprise but salting the meat yourself is crucial. We can’t wait to make it a repeat trip because it all in all was excellent and their service is fast, efficient and very hospitable!

We really liked it. Tons of options and everything was super tasty. Seating was generous and it was not too crowded at 12:30 on a Saturday. Atmosphere is very bright and super clean. Tables were bussed quickly and efficiently. Staff was extremely polite and kind – very quick to remove dishes and fill drinks. The cooks were all super friendly and happy to share a warm smile. The hibachi selection was a little limited but what I had was super tasty. Lots of vegetarian options and at least a dozen different sushi choices along with very good nigiri. Ratings should be much higher.

Clean atmosphere.
Efficient, tentative customer service.
Food is of good quality.
For the price it’s not bad.

One star left out to leave a challenge out for improvement.
Nothing wrong with competitive nature.

Don’t go… save yourself the money…. Go somewhere else

Listen… my husband and I had heard good things about this place, so we decided to go this last Tuesday night…. The first plate of food we instantly regretted it.

The moment you step into the restaurant you kinda feel like you’re at a funeral… it’s sad, depressing and just… empty…

Now… to the food, if you can call it that…? His sushi was warm and all of the “warm” food was ice cold… the stir fry station, the meat ended up being so tough I could only eat two pieces… my partner spent $41 for the crappiest meal we’ve had in a very very long time

Also something of note… sanity conditions do NOT exists tong for the stir fry station we’re touching the raw chicken and the raw fish… and the cross contamination EVERYWHERE!!! It’s bad!!!

Save yourself don’t go!

Don’t let the negative reviews turn you off! When this place first opened up, we read the reviews and were frightened off going there. I found out recently that a friend of ours has been going there for a while. I told her about the bad reviews and why we never tried it because of that. She replied “I don’t know why there would be bad reviews. Ted and I go there a lot and the food is really good. We have never had a bad experience” So, based on her word, we tried it yesterday. OMG!!!!!!!! Their food is SO good and SO fresh we can’t wait to try it again!” We live 125 miles from Salem but go there a lot because we like it there. We plan to come back next week just to eat here!

A couple of the dishes were definitely flavorful and cooked really well! They have a good variety when it comes to selection but overall things just weren’t very fresh. I tried one of every sushi roll they had out and 50/50 of them were great but the other half weren’t very good at all. A few things weren’t hot even after immediately getting back to my seat, the fried rice and soups were on the blander side. The desert was great but that’s probably just because I have a sweet tooth. Staff was nice, we got seated immediately and our plates were cleared and water refilled regularly. Overall a mid-tier experience at ~$17 per person not including drink price. (We just got waters)

Review from someone who hates seafood*
I hate seafood and I came here expecting to get the non seafood options and that’s what prompted me to get online and complain. Do not mistake this as a regular buffet with great seafood. EVERYTHING is coated with seafood oils and flavors. Something as simple as chicken and broccoli had that seafood twang in it. The noodles all taste like seafood, I think it’s just the oil they cook with. The fried rice was tolerable but the options for someone who doesn’t like seafood is very slim already the food bars are dominated with all sorts of seafood. NO SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN OR S&S PORK. Now the hibachi couldn’t be bad right? Well they cook all the food together and that’s mistake no 1. It’s 1 thing to accidentally pool a shrimp or 2 into my food (which was already enough for me to not touch it) and I knew that going in unless I wanted to wait until no one else with seafood items at the hibachi I might expect a couple peices of seafood. NAH a whole handful of shrimp and some that even fell in the gutter he scooped back up and mixed it in. Now my gf who had the seafood said it was okay but I have no way of knowing what okay is. She did say the sushi sucked. ALL this to say if you or someone you’re taking HATES seafood you will hate this restaurant. Don’t think you can get away eating the stuff that isn’t seafood cause they already lack many options for that ontop of the non seafood stuff tasting like seafood.

Some positive things
The vibe, great clean open space to eat and friendly staff.
Fresh fruit and the hibachi ingredients seemed higher quality than I expected.
Sweet treats are nice and they have individual ice cream cups.
Huge selection of seafood if you’re into that.

This 2 star isn’t comparing to all restaurants, it’s a 2 star compared to other buffet restaurants.

Food: meh. Looks nice, but lukewarm temp and food that should be crispy, wasn’t. Food not hot (warming trays don’t do the best), decent sushi. My wife didn’t try the hibachi because she saw the cook using the same utensils to handle finished food and raw chicken (no swap outs or washing), and not washing his hands after handling raw chicken

Atmosphere: clean, tons of space.

Service: fantastic friendly staff (besides mr raw chicken fingers), bussed tables regularly

Really sucks posting this, paid for a family of four for dinner buffet which is not cheap only to end the night with finding a roach on my husband’s plate. Staff were not surprised at all by this and didn’t really attempt to make this right only adding a $10 discount when the entire meal should have been a comp. We are not returning to this establishment, the food was not great either, very overcooked or items that sat under the hot lamps way to long, lots of grease and not traditional flavors. We have been here before and it’s been better several months ago. I don’t know what’s happened. Turn it around.

Hands down must go!!! I was surprised that they had a variety of sushi choices. Very delicious! A good variety of different dishes. Dessert choices are limited. I think the price is perfect considering it’s an all you can eat buffet. Busy place. Friendly staff. Will definitely come back!
