I’m just beginning to explore lunch spots in Van Buren and this is my favorite place so far. I dined here 3 times in 7 days. I had a fried chicken salad and the club sandwich twice. Both dishes were well done. The tater tots were delish.

Oh wow! This place was the best place to go for a New Year’s Day lunch. Our waitress,Jennie, was funny, kind, and gave above and beyond service. The food had huge portions and was delicious. I would definitely recommend The Vault.

Ordered the 16oz ribeye because it was 20% off on Fridays – would’ve paid pull price for it! It was medium thickness, just the right amount of fat, plenty big enough to take home some of it. Order broccoli & sautéed veggies with it – both great. Server was attentive, professional, & polite. Wish I could remember her name. I will be back next week!

This place was highly recommended by 2 locals, so we were excited. The atmosphere in this restored bank building is not disappointing! The service was great, but the food was mediocre. Surprisingly the offer of gluten free pizza on the menu was refreshing but not extraordinary in flavor or taste. The chicken fried steak was plate sized, but so heavily breaded it was difficult to distinguish the meat, and when finding it, there was a realization as to why. It had to be disguised. Go for the ambiance, not the food.

We stopped by here on our way to Hot Springs after reading the positive reviews on the food. Very cool old bank building on a beautiful historic Main Street. The dining room and bar is not nearly as big as it looks from outside, because it seems like more than half the building is an event/party area. But it was an open, well lit dining room with a bar on one side and a small stage area in the corner. We were sat and greeted right away. Our server was nice but did not introduce himself or make any recommendations. We learned after we ordered it was Thursday discount fried steak day, which would have been good to know beforehand. Anyway, we started with the stuffed mushrooms “Chef’s special” and they came out pretty fast. They were amazing! Hot and fresh and filled with cream cheese, bacon, and steak. It was a large serving too, with 8 good size mushrooms! Our lunch order took a while to arrive though and we probably waited 20-30 minutes after our appetizer. When it did arrive it was all delicious and very large portions. My husband got the country fried steak, I got the prime cheese burger and fries, and my daughter got the pulled pork sliders and mac and cheese. We could have easily shared the burger or the fried steak and didn’t finish either. The housemade fries were amazing too. The server did come back to refill my tea twice but never cleared any plates including the app plates from the beginning, so the table was pretty crowded. Overall, great meal and ok service. I would definitely return and recommend! They have a big menu with a lot of variety including brunch!
