Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Having recently been to El Salvador and now comparing the food locally to the authentic food in country, there’s no difference other than you pay a premium in Idaho… but Im sure that has to do with the cost to import a lot of the ingredients that just aren’t available here locally. Very filling, satisfying, and the taste and smells of my meal transported me back to when I was in Ataco or San Marcos. I’m thrilled to only live 10 min from this restaurant. I ordered a bean and cheese pupusa and it was delicious. I am looking forward to going back to try more menu items. I also had the chips with beans and salsa. The salsa is not a chunky salsa, it’s more like a hot sauce, but the flavor was great. The beans are amazing. Smooth and creamy.
I had a take out order and the things I would have like to have known before my first time were: The pupusas don’t come with anything. I will next time ask for a salsa for them, or find out what other toppings they might offer. The beans and salsa that came with the chips were very small portions. I will ask for more next time.
The food was delicouse, the price was fair, the place was clean, the staff was friendly and the wait wasn’t too long. Definetly check this place out if you are in Caldwell!!

Visited for the first time a couple weeks ago. I have driven by many times but was always unable to stop.
I am so glad I finally did.
The menu is simple and straightforward but has selections that anyone would enjoy.
The young man at the counter was very nice and helpful, answered all my questions.
I chose 2 different papusas: chicharron con queso/pork and cheese as well as the frijol con queso/beans and cheese.
Both came with a side of coleslaw that was the perfect tangy/vinegary/crunchy accompaniment to the savory, fluffy papusas.
They offered 2 salsas both had a delicious flavor, I chose to finish my meal with the spicier option but both are a great choice for anyone.
For a drink, it was the piña/pineapple Agua Frescas . Wow!!! So delicious.
Everything is homemade and fresh.
I recommend this terrific little restaurant and look forward to stopping by again.

Los tamales I pupusas on point the yuan was fire i didn’t like the chicharon. Chicharon was like pulled pork I like my chicharon traditional chunks greasy. None the less that’s just me if other’s like it to each their own. I keep 5 stars just cause what suits me might not be for everyone.5 star place

Had (4) different pupusas: frijoles/carnitas/jalepenos, birria, cheese/jalapeño, and a bean/cheese. The birria sucked. No flavor and the “consume” was beef broth with no depth. The cheese/jalapeño was good. The other (2) were mid and not worth getting.
I randomly ordered (2) Carne Asada tacos and the meat was great. Has a hint of beer flavoring and beer generous portion. If we make it back, it’ll only be for the carne asada tacos. Also, there’s really no salsa selection at all. Only 2 and they were blah.
Service was ok. Didn’t get refills and never checked up on us. I’ve had better service at taco trucks.

We tried 3 different pupusas and the “Pupusa Loca” 10/10 recommended the agua frescas are also delicious to pair with the food. We will definitely be coming back for more!!!!! 🙂

Very good restaurant I love the lady in the back she’s is very sweet and loving the girl in the front neyhma super cute and sweet she deserves a RAISE!! she is the best waitress we had she made me buy tons of food bc she was super good at her work i knew i had to try lots of food i think everyone needs to go eat there!!!! all i gotta say is neyhma needs a raise!
