When I spoke to the lady on the phone she first told me yes it is imitation crab but then switched her answer to no saying it wasn’t. I asked her multiple times for clarity and she kept saying no it’s not imitation but if I wanted real crab meat she would charge $3 extra which is I why I asked again.
I placed my order in Uber eats then called back to let her know my uber and the lady immediately told me that she seen my order already and informed the guy.
When my food arrived i was excited to try this appetizer but immediately was disappointed and upset when i see it is imitation crab and the lady on the phone was not helpful. So I called the restaurant back looking for an explanation of how this could happen if I spoke to them multiple times and was told different.
The First Lady told me that if I wanted real crab to get a seafood boil mind you this is a seafood and hibachi place. Then she says it wasn’t her I spoke to so she tells me to hold on, I can hear in the background they are discussing the situation in their language and then start laughing and then she comes back to the phone like oh we can’t help to ask uber for refund.
Also the lady who I spoke to twice on the phone prior to my order completely ignored the fact that she told me the order did not come with imitation crab and that she informed the chef to use real crab if it did.
These people have no integrity but always want our money even if you communicate something with them , they will not be upfront and honest and beat around the bush, a common occurrence with this race and lack of respect that I am tired of and will say anything for your money and have no accountability in their wrong doing. Will not be ordering from here again and you shouldn’t either for the reasons listed above.
The food was so delicious. The flavor was phenomenal. We order the lobster tail and shrimp steamed platter and it tasted so fresh and flavorful. The dumplings was chef kiss. They were fried and steamed to perfection.
Please stop by and support IKKO. The food is delicious
Okay, people, buckle up because I just experienced something truly magical: my very first hibachi, and IKKO Hibachi in **New York** absolutely *nailed* it! From the moment I walked in, the energy was electric – the sizzling sounds, the tantalizing aromas, and the sheer artistry happening right before my eyes at the grill!
Our chef was an absolute rockstar! Not only was the food incredibly delicious (seriously, the scallops were melt-in-your-mouth perfection, and those garlic noodles? Forget about it!), but the whole experience was pure entertainment. The knife skills were mesmerizing, the onion volcano eruption had me cheering, and the little culinary tricks were just plain fun. I was laughing, I was impressed, and most importantly, I was devouring every single bite.
I honestly didn’t know what to expect going into my first hibachi, but IKKO Hibachi completely exceeded any expectations I had. It wasn’t just dinner; it was a full-on interactive show that happened to end with the most flavorful, perfectly cooked food I’ve had in ages.
The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for a fun night out with friends or family. The staff were all super friendly and attentive, making sure our drinks were filled and our experience was top-notch.
Seriously, if you’re a hibachi veteran, you already know the deal. But if you’re a newbie like I was, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and head straight to IKKO Hibachi in **New York**. Prepare to be amazed, entertained, and utterly stuffed with incredible food. This wasn’t just a meal; it was an *experience*, and I’m already counting down the days until I can go back for round two! Five stars and two enthusiastic thumbs up! #IKKOHibachi #Hibachi #NYCEats #NewYorkFood #FirstTimeHibachi #DinnerAndAShow #Delicious #FoodieNYC #HighlyRecommend #MindBlown
Would I order from here again? Yes. How often? Probably when my fav spot is closed this place would be my alternative.
One thing I loved about their service was that they were fast! Like on a Monday night
Delight yourself with the place, the hospitality, the flavors, colors, sounds and all that you can imagine of the Asian cousins in this place.
Many different dishes made at your convenience if you like meat, chicken, fish, vegetables and other many many options.
You can eat normally in any place, but the show makes all the difference. They really make you interact with all the table and with the chefs that always put smiles in your face.
Again an excellent place with all the perfect decoration and excellent service.
Congratulations!
And for the handicapped people it is totally friendly. No problems at all.
