I haven’t been to this location since the very beginning of Covid when they profiled me and REFUSED to take my $100. They didn’t check it or anything just told me they were not taking it and I could go get change and come back. The manager said this to me. Of course I left and did not return. The corporate office also told me it was the stores discretion and too bad. So today my friend talked me into going there with him. (I didn’t mention my past experience, still haven’t) Today, as we were ordering, my friend had some questions about items on the menu, and the cashier was answering when the manager bustled up and loudly said “NO, YOU CANNOT GET A CAL ONE AS ONE OF YOUR ITEMS.” Apparently, the have a mix and match menu or something. None of us were even discussing this. He bustled away. I reflected on what had happened to me and realized this location ran it’s business in a very paranoid manner. They thought I was a scammer and refused to take my federal reserve note 5 years ago. And today assumed my friend was trying to fast talk his way for some menu manipulation. So weird. There are places to get great food all over Burleson.. and the rest of the Metro Plex.. this location ought to remember that. Customer service is not even in the radar here, they’re too worried about holding on to every penny and making sure the customers order as they are told. Best of luck to you. Today finalized it for me, I will NOT be back.

I love Schlotzkys, but this is the worst one ever. Buns are stale. Not enough ingredients on the sandwiches and they fall apart. Waited 30 minutes one time at the drive thu. Finally we went inside. They were doing nothing and had forgot about us. Don’t know if its just the afternoon and or evening personnel that’s the problem or not

Props where props is due. Had an order mistake made by a different location and due to how far my job has my drive I was unable to return to the opposite direction. Called the burleson location and they were super helpful and even remade my order in exchange for the wrong one from a different spot. Caleb on the phone and Chris in person were fantastic, i will definitely be back due to their customer service. Thanks guys!

Food is always good here, but the service is terrible. It’s almost like they are not able to multi-task with taking orders and fulfill one order at a time before taking the next. I usually have to wait a while for someone to greet me at the counter to take my order, and this is only after they are bringing someone else’s food with them. Went through drive-thru today and order 2 Cinnabons and had to wait almost 15 minutes from time of placing order until I received it! The truck in front of me in the drive thru drove off and never even paid for his order because he was tired of waiting to just have someone greet him and take his money. If something was done about the service in this place, they may have more business.

Do NOT order the pastrami and Swiss sandwich! I’ve eaten saltine crackers with more moisture, the bread they use is not even close to the image on the menu, and the only way to tell the cheese was on there was to find the thin, see through film stuck on the outside crust of the read. For a $10 sandwich, I paid $12 too much. Gods awful.

Staff was cordial and professional. Sandwiches are always great. They are very conservative with the pickles, but everyone is trying to keep prices down… so, understandable. Chicken Fiesta sandwich is my favorite.

Some of the tables and furnishings are wearing out. Other than that Schlotsy’s rocks. Their prices have hardly changed thru the years unlike the other sandwich joints. The quality of food is top notch and their bread is always fresh and perfect.
