Have you ever wandered into a place almost by accident and ended up wondering how on earth you didn’t discover it sooner? That was exactly my experience here. This spot is a true hidden gem, and from the first bite it was obvious that the food is taken very seriously, in the best possible way.
The house specialty is the bao bun, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. I tried three, and they were far more than I expected. Imagine soft, pillowy buns that practically melt in your hands, generously filled with rich, flavorful meats and balanced with fresh, crisp vegetables. I had duck, pork belly, and chicken, and each one felt distinct, thoughtful, and incredibly satisfying. The textures alone are worth the visit. Tender meat, fluffy bao, and just the right amount of crunch from the veggies.
Huge respect to the people running this place, you can feel the pride in every detail, from the presentation to the quality of the ingredients. Eating here genuinely felt like being transported straight to the streets of Taiwan, without needing a passport.
The location is a bit tucked away, but Google Maps will get you there with no problem, and it’s absolutely worth the small hunt. This is the kind of place you hope never gets too crowded, but also want everyone to know about. I’m already planning my next visit and can safely say I’m on my way to becoming a regular.

First time here. Ran in here for a quick lunch bite. My co-worker recommended this place having good street asian food. It was ok. I had the duck, fish and the original bao. The service was quick since I called in my order, so it was not enough for me to give it five stars. Will I be back? Probably, for the fish bao.

I came! I saw! I devoured!
After class, I was famished and ready to try something new. I stumbled upon Baozi, an Asian street food spot with glowing reviews—and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
I was the only customer when I walked in, so I ordered at the counter, paid, and grabbed a seat. My food came out quickly, and before my taste buds could even react, my eyes had already eaten half the plate. That Kicking Chicken Sandwich came with a spicy sauce, but honestly, it didn’t bring the heat for me (I like it spicy spicy). Still, the flavor? On point.
Now let’s talk about the Sexy Girl sushi—that roll did its thang. Fresh, flavorful, and the name matches the vibe. The customer service? A solid 11/10. The flavor of the food? 15/10. The atmosphere? Cool, calm, and just right for a solo meal or chill hangout.
Would I go back? Absolutely. And next time, I’m bringing the crew.

My wife will be DREAMING about these bao for a long, looonnnggg time! Worth every single penny. The options for bao were so unique, we actually asked the cashier to pick for us! And we’re so glad we did! I got the hibachi chicken bento, which was also amazing but the bao is really where it’s at! The staff was so kind even though we were a bit chaotic, the restaurant was very clean, and was the perfect spot for a nice lunch without breaking the bank! It might not seem like much but this cute little place deserves your money!

My daughter and I were first time visitors to Baozi and let me say it was “Amazing!” Nice, friendly greeting, great atmosphere…but the food speaks for itself!
Blown away by the food!!!! So, so very delicious!!! We will be frequent visitors, and recommend everyone to visit Baozi!

With heightened anticipation I was enthusiastic when reviewing the menu and seeing the options they had. Unfortunately, the food was inedible. From the bao buns to the sushi, spring rolls and dumplings, everything tasted old as if it had sat under a heated light like they have at McDonald’s. The bao buns I got were the pulled pork and kicking chicken. The pulled pork tasted as if they got it out of a can. The chicken one had a frozen chicken tender inside and was just covered in hot sauce. Now onto the sushi.. I got the volcano sushi and I couldn’t bring myself to finish the bite I took. The shrimp tempura tasted like old grease and spicy crab wasn’t spicy. It tasted like they were premade over the weekend left out to thaw. The pork dumplings were flavorless and the spring rolls tasted and smelled like freezer burn. 0/10 I would NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. My dinner has now been ruined because I had the expectation of getting good food based off the reviews but DO NOT believe the hype! It’s DISGUSTING!!

Great local spot for some hibachi. I like their steak and fried rice. Tender and juicy steak with nicely seasoned rice and veggies.

Delicious fresh made sushi! We had the Godzilla roll and Peachtree special roll. Give them a little time, it’s made fresh to order. Very tasty!
