I had an unforgettable dining experience at Madison Wine & Tap. The food was absolutely amazing—every bite unbelievably delicious. The mushroom risotto was my top favorite: rich, creamy, and full of flavor.

And the cocktails… truly beyond words. They were 1000% delicious. My absolute favorite was the Lavender Harvest, but I also tried Touch of Gray and Cranberry Skies—both just as impressive and incredibly tasty.

The desserts were another highlight. We tried the cheesecake and the crème brûlée, and they were so amazing that we didn’t even manage to take a photo—we ate them immediately

The staff was wonderful as well: kind, helpful, and very professional, which made the whole experience even better.

If you’re looking for exceptional food, unforgettable cocktails, delicious desserts, and top‑tier service, Madison Wine & Tap is a must‑visit. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. The plates are very small but INCREDIBLE. Our waitress was amazingly competent and (though we were a solidly chaotic party of 10) got everything we ordered correct and even remembered who ordered what. Our party, some of us having gone to culinary school and some from countries of great cuisine, had high expectations – Madison Wine and Tap Room excelled those. I work in food service and our view into the kitchen looked clean and organized, with just three chefs getting food out within ten minutes of ordering.

Keep in mind it’s not a big entree per person type of vibe. Might be more suitable for larger parties so you can order an array of their menu. My only critiques would be that it IS pricey. My very small portion of pork belly was insanely good, but $20 for 2 small pieces. Also they have an odd policy for cake – they let us know a $50 surcharge would be added to our bill if we brought in our own cake for my mom’s birthday, which is odd since there are only 3 items on their dessert list.

For what to get, the pork belly was amazing but not a large portion for the price. The Rustico pizza is a MUST, as well as the very generous Salumi board and steaming-hot homemade breads (which come with an incredible pâté and onion dip).

The food, however, makes everything worth it tenfold. My mother announced at the end of the dinner that we simply HAVE to come back – which we surely will be 🙂 Thank you so much for an incredible meal!

Madison Wine and Tap Room is a delightful spot for both dinner and happy hour! The atmosphere is inviting, and the extensive drink selection, especially during happy hour, offers great options at a great deal. The eggplant parm pizza was a standout, perfectly baked with a crispy crust and flavorful toppings. The cauliflower was a surprising treat, with a deliciously seasoned and tender texture. The steak frites were cooked to perfection, with juicy steak and crispy fries. All the food arrived piping hot and made for a satisfying dining experience. Only downside is it did get quite loud during the peak of happy hour.

Highly recommend visiting Madison Wine and Tap Room for a tasty meal and drinks!

The name of the restaurant is very appropriate, you go there for drinks, but pricey drinks. Their prices are like those in Manhattan.

Food wise, we were able to order a very good sampling of what they offered. Food were photogenic. The $19 Hamachi Tataki and the $16 Crabcake Sandwich were the most “OK” out of all the VERY SMALL plates. For the $22 Salumi and Cheese, cold cuts weren’t fresh, the blue cheese wasn’t delicious. The $12 Chickpea Fries were interesting but not also delicious. There was nothing special about their $17 Cheeseburger with MWTR sauce. The $16 Shrimp Cheviche were three HALF PIECES of shrimp! And please don’t order the $20 Braised Pork Belly! The “tomato paste infused” pork belly was about 1.5×2 inches big, and almost two inches thick was all fat.

We ordered a bunch of pizzas. Also photogenic but taste wise, nothing stood out.

The service was very friendly and eager. Good job. Commendable.

The ambiance seemed bright, inviting, and recently renovated.

The Men’s restroom was clean but the sensor of their faucet didn’t work right. The sensor couldn’t decide to pour out water from the faucet.

The food experience was borderline acceptable, the wine and cocktails were good, but everything was very overpriced.

For the owners, please don’t make the state of the economy an excuse for over pricing. The restaurant has potential and I’d like neighborhood businesses to succeed, but customers want good value and delectable food.

Nice wine list, beer list and a great menu of small plates and appetizers. Try the scallop small plate and olive tapenades, both are standouts on the menu! The service was excellent, but time to receive a drink consistently took a little too long. Not sure if that was due to backup at the bar, but that’s the only suggestion for improvement. Great atmosphere as well!

Yum!!! My first time here, met friends for dinner and this place did not disappoint. Pizza was fantastic, and we also ordered the charred cauliflower. There was an extensive adult beverage menu too, plenty of wine choices. I ordered a glass of the Vietti Moscato d’Asti; if you like sweet this is the wine for you! Great vibe, the tap room is located in front of the market. There’s parking behind the building, and you can go in either through the back (market entrance), or walk around to the front. Also a few tables outside if your preference is outdoor dining. I’ll be back!!

I have never eaten at Madison Wine & Tap and I NEVER WILL because our company has been trying for a week to get in touch with the manager to maybe set up a client dinner! I get it they open at 4:00 pm but there should be a catering manager who is available during business hours. There is no private party portal, no response to the online form requesting private space (filled it out twice) and no response via email. I am not available to talk to a manager when he finally calls my office back at 8:00 pm at night.

Amber has gotten us thru several trying toddler dinners on Friday night. It’s the only restaurant we dare go to on a Friday night because she’s the best and the food and drink is super.
