Even though it’s using Bingsoo (which is Korean shaved ice) I’m fairly certain it’s actually Chinese but who cares when it tastes good.
The plaza is big but it’s right next to the McDonald’s if you have a hard time finding it. Seating is somewhat limited and I think for shaved ice it’s better to eat there rather than taking it to go. Service is good enough even if it’s usually just one person. Tip is optional which is good. You order through a kiosk.
My favorite is the matcha or the original milk but mango is popular among kids.
I have now been here twice since the open and each time have been pleasantly surprised with just how delicious the food is, and how lovely the ambiance is! The Bingsuu served here is fresh, lightly sweetened, and a real delight, especially on the hot summer days.
So far, I’ve had the mango, strawberry, matcha red bean, and chocolate flavors, with my favorite being the mango for how fresh and sweet it was. All dishes come with a small serving of sweetened condensed milk for added creaminess.
Note: the portions are huge! (As is traditional of this dessert). I recommend splitting with someone, maybe two people, even for the regular size.
I ordered green tea Bingsu, but it was good that it wasn’t sweet. But Injeolmi Toast was really disappointing.
The most uncomfortable part was that the younger boy, who appeared to be the owner’s family, was constantly playing the game loudly, and the noise level was so loud that my head hurt, but when I tried to record it, I quit and went in and started another game. I will never visit again and I never recommend it.
