I’ve been going to Snow Bowl when it was MandRo Teahouse and when it was only one store in Fremont so when my friends invited us for shaved ice I was pleasantly surprised it’s a new branch in the Tri Valley area. Nothing more to talk about as it’s my favorite place for shaved ice whenever I have a chance in the East Bay. They changed their name which is smart because it’s the shaved ice that sets them apart not the tea.

Even though it’s using Bingsoo (which is Korean shaved ice) I’m fairly certain it’s actually Chinese but who cares when it tastes good.

The plaza is big but it’s right next to the McDonald’s if you have a hard time finding it. Seating is somewhat limited and I think for shaved ice it’s better to eat there rather than taking it to go. Service is good enough even if it’s usually just one person. Tip is optional which is good. You order through a kiosk.

My favorite is the matcha or the original milk but mango is popular among kids.

I’ve tried 5 different bingsoos, and injeolmi and matcha are my favorites. The shaved ice is milky, creamy, and delicious, so it’s not watery or icy. My friend group and I frequent this place since it opened a few weeks ago, so it’s safe to say we love hanging out at Snow Bowl!

A delicious addition to the San Ramon area!

I have now been here twice since the open and each time have been pleasantly surprised with just how delicious the food is, and how lovely the ambiance is! The Bingsuu served here is fresh, lightly sweetened, and a real delight, especially on the hot summer days.

So far, I’ve had the mango, strawberry, matcha red bean, and chocolate flavors, with my favorite being the mango for how fresh and sweet it was. All dishes come with a small serving of sweetened condensed milk for added creaminess.

Note: the portions are huge! (As is traditional of this dessert). I recommend splitting with someone, maybe two people, even for the regular size.

Employ was very rude, simply asked for the toppings to be 1/2 strawberry (which i paid an extra $2.50 for) and 1/2 mango which i ordered. Also drove 5 min and the ice had already melted way too much, these containers are not the right ones to keep this ice cold

It says Korean Style Bingsu, so I looked forward to it, but it’s not Korean style for sure.
I ordered green tea Bingsu, but it was good that it wasn’t sweet. But Injeolmi Toast was really disappointing.
The most uncomfortable part was that the younger boy, who appeared to be the owner’s family, was constantly playing the game loudly, and the noise level was so loud that my head hurt, but when I tried to record it, I quit and went in and started another game. I will never visit again and I never recommend it.

Finally a bingsoo place close to home! Same management as Mandro Teahouse in Newark so we’re not surprised that they offer the same delicious bingsoo. Our all time favorite is Mango but I can’t wait to try the other flavors! Their gyoza is good too!

The best bingsoo I’ve had ever. The ice is so fluffy and fine and not from water but something very lightly sweet and creamy. The condensed milk is also lighter than usual and served on the side, so you can get just the right amount. The injeolmi toast and passion fruit tea were also excellent, but what I’m really looking forward to trying next time is the mango bingsoo which boasts fresh mango and house made mango syrup!

guy was a bit strange, wouldn’t look at me or say anything, the strawberry ice gave me a pretty bad stomach ache (im not sensitive to any foods) – i know it was caused by the food cause i only ate half on 2 different days and got same stomach ache after both days. tasted good but I’m not going back after that lol
