The rooftop at the AC Hotel is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The views were stunning, the drinks were really good, and Hilda, our bartender, made some seriously delicious cocktails. We enjoyed the golden hour and I’m already planning to come back for dinner.

The view was great and the couches were comfy but the tables were very low which made it challenging to eat (especially being pregnant). The heaters weren’t that strong but they also provided blankets which helped. The staff seemed a bit distracted. We had to ask for things multiple times. We were given the wrong drinks and the fourth member of our party didn’t receive their food until an hour after everyone else. They also charge a service fee that we were unaware of. It’s a nice lounge but I wouldn’t go back for dinner with family.

The place is very nice, the view is spectacular, and the service is good. The food was actually really good—we had salmon, which was cooked almost to perfection. What gave me a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that when they present the check, they don’t tell you or make you aware they already included a 20% service fee (tip), and the receipt still suggests tip amounts. They point out that they have this policy written in small print in the menu, but I feel it’s very deceitful how they present the check. Plus, why do they include the service fee at 20%?

Probably my new favorite rooftop spots in DTLA with an amazing view that rivals or tops “Perch.”
I’ve tried their appetizer menu and they were all good when accompanied with an adult beverage. Awesome outdoor seating arrangement, comfortable couches and tables. A great place to have a meeting and have a relaxing time over the sunset.
Also customer service has been excellent, good people’s, good vibes and awesome atmosphere. I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu items.

Mandatory 20% service charge on every bill.
Drinks were not consistent. Food was underwhelming. Staff was a hit or miss but our servers were attentive and nice. Like what the others have said, you’re really just paying for the view. Overall, not impressed and a waste of money.

This place is allllllll about atmosphere and ambiance. It is a lovely rooftop spot with many places to look out over the city. It is especially beautiful at night with all the lights. To say that, I was partially impressed with the food. The tuna tostada was okay and the calamari could’ve used just a bit of seasoning. Pot stickers were good. I know in a place like this you are paying for the experience, but I would like a little more bang for my buck in the food department. This was a pricey snack. But I did enjoy looking out at the buildings and traffic and people below as I ate my food. I was greeted right away and the staff was very friendly. The drinks were also good. There is plenty of room for get togethers with friends and also some more private areas for a date night. Like I said, atmosphere and ambiance!

While the rooftop is gorgeous and the views stunning, the service was not attentive at all. My water cup went empty multiple times, I wasn’t asked if I wanted another beverage, and it took 30 minutes for our food and we were a table

Horrible service. Waitress did not once check up on us. Told us she would bring us waters upon our arrival and never did. Wait time on everything was extremely long and best part? Food was cold and extremely small portions. I know the whole stereotype that the more pricey the food the less portion size you receive but to receive it cold? Unacceptable.

Hands down the best chicken and waffle I’ve ever had in my life. The chicken was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, The waffle itself had crispy edges with a soft center, interspersed with granulated sugar giving it an extra Crunch and sweetness.
