We arrived and the table was ready and we were all welcomed immediately. Our waitress was amazing and I am sorry we did not grab her name to mention her specifically in this review but she deserves to be shouted out for her hospitality! She took the time to make sure everything was top notch for us and celebrated the occasion just as a close friend would!
The food left every one of my guests impressed with my restaurant choices and talking about how good the food was for days afterwards. We would all repeat our meals the next night if we could!
Everyone shared so we could all taste the thoughtful dishes. Some of the highlights from my friends and I were: the bison, the fried chicken, the tartare & marrow, as well as the desserts! The drinks were perfect, a friend mentioned this was the best negroni he’d ever had!
Thank you for a great evening and an extremely memorable birthday dinner!
The atmosphere was charming and warm, striking a balance between relaxed and refined. It felt like the perfect spot for a laid-back weekend brunch.
Service-wise, things were a bit slower than expected. It seemed there was only one waitress covering a fairly busy section, which understandably led to some delays. While she was friendly, the pacing could have been better.
Overall, I’d absolutely return for the food and ambiance alone—just hoping they have a bit more staff coverage next time to match the quality of the meal.
For the first course:
The trout toast was very good favor with balanced texture from the crispy toast.
The added beef gouch in beer also very tasty.
The mushroom arancini was quit popular with about 1/3 of customer that it as their first course and it has crispy shell filled with great favor of mushroom.
The added dual lamb second course had very tasty lamb rib. The lamb meat ball a bit heavy on the herb probably better for anyone that prefer less lamb favor. It was good they added it in the offer for the second course. It’s good choice if you like lamb.
The scallops were cooked just right tenderness and without any fishy smell on top the grilled endive formed great base to the additional sides.
Bison short rib was good as well along with the sides that accompany it.
The third course is deserts:
The guava sorbet was very good with great guava favor, the mango-coconut is a bit light on Mango..
The Toffee Pudding was warming to heart in the cold night while Chocolate Torte was full of the favor although the rosemary ice cream took a bit of adjustment.
A good one and a half hours dinning experience
