Unfortunately, when I had noticed it should be about delivered, I saw the driver was stuck in the middle of street about two doors away in ice.
I made contact and honestly he was super calm (more than I would be) about his situation. I took my pizza inside and then went back out to help with some random objects, but to no avail. His co-worker shows up and we all get the car out.
I still feel ‘bad’ about the situation, but they displayed exceptional customer service, teamwork, and perseverance against unordinary challenges to generate as much business as possible, while still keeping their cool.
As a owner/GM/customer, this is exactly what you want to see out of your team. I just wanted a couple pizzas on my doorstep, but walked away impressed with this stores staff, and experience I probably wont forget soon.
I’ve called the manager and they act like I did something wrong even though this is almost a weekly issue. How do you get a Buffalo chicken pizza wrong every week?
The manager acted like a child and kept huffing and puffing on the phone. Absolutely disrespectful and rude, I can’t believe he’s still a manager – he’s terrible.
This is the second edition: this time I ordered the chicken wings again, and one thing really piss me off, all eight piece All of them are wing roots, not a single one is in the middle of the wings
After recieving the incomplete order, I called and was told they would send the driver back out with the missing items. 30 minutes passed and no one came.
So I called again, only to be placed on hold for an additional 5 minutes.
I hung up and called back, which they answered immediately (shocker).
She said she voided one of my transactions and since no one could get ahold of the driver, I just offered to come pick it up (this is about the point where I regretted tipping the first time).
So at this point, I ordered delivery well over an hour ago. By this time, I had to go to the store to pick up anyway and basically paid the delivery fee for no reason.
As it stands, I’m out $50+ (double what I expected to pay) and they said they could not give me a return receipt for the supposedly voided transaction. Time will tell if I get my money back, and if I do, I’ll add a star to my rating. But because I had to go to the store myself AFTER ordering delivery, nothing could make the experience worth more than that. I did misplace one item, and the other item I did received after driving myself there and picking it up at the store. So after it was all said and done, I did get a complete order. But the amount of time and effort I had to go through for that was not worth it.
And on top of everything else, I will have to reheat everything because at the end of the journey, 2 hours later, everything is of course ice cold. Incredibly disappointing experience, but I do appreciate the $15 coupon they offered for next time at least.
