This pizza place is real cozy, it has some arcade games and I was not expecting the pizza to be as good as it was. I got the jalapeño popper 10” and that cheese melted so good that I had to keep pulling and rolling it on my pizza slice. I also got a kombucha peach flavor and that was pretty good . I’ve never had one so I will definitely be getting another one. My husband got the meats pizza that came with pepperoni, sausage, and ham and he added pineapples. That looked really good and he said that was really good.

Excellent pizza, perfectly cooked. Brews on tap you can sample, which is nice. Had am amazing root beer on tap for those who prefer non alcoholic tap bevs. Atmosphere 10/10, if I were local I’d be there once a week.

When I first lived in Monmouth and discovered this place, I was genuinely sad when we moved away because it meant no more garlic beasty bites in my life. Now we’re back in Monmouth and within walking distance? Game on.

Yeasty Beasty is hands down the best pizza around.

Let’s break it down:

• Pizza (the pie kind)
• Calzones
• Pizza by the slice
• The best garlic breadsticks ever (garlic beasty bites, thank me later)
• Homemade sauces. Get the ranch.
• Arcade games
• Beer on tap
• Cider on tap
• Non-alcoholic beers
• Sodas for the kids
• Napkins on the tables (this matters)
• Seat-yourself, no-pressure vibe

To go, dine in, whatever you’re doing, it’s worth it.

As a mom, I hate having to cave to everyone else’s pizza preferences. I want all the meat. My kids want plain cheese. This setup is a dream. I get my slice. They get theirs. Nobody settles. Nobody breaks the bank. Win, win, win. And yes, adult drinks are part of the equation.

My husband and teenage son are all about the calzones. I’ve never been a calzone girly, but they look amazing and the boys keep ordering them, so that tells you something. For me and the four-year-old, it’s slices all day. Meaty Beasty for me. Cheese for her.

If you live in or near Monmouth and aren’t eating here yet, fix that immediately.

The food is tasty, but I think the home made ranch is to be the best addition to all the food. Also try the pesto cream sauce, it was surprisingly delicious.

Service could have been a little quicker but they were backed up due to a local sporting event.

This place is a great option to come if you have vegetarians in your party.

Absolutely delicious! My chefs special came with olive oil garlic sauce, pepperoni, black olives peppers, cherry tomatoes and a pesto drizzle to die for. My husband customized a pepperoni, olives, garlic, breakfast bacon, extra cheese and mushrooms. The ranch tastes homemade and both the root beer on tap and the Ninkasi Grapefruit Refresher paired perfectly. We will definitely be back! Thanks for dinner!!!

Good honest pizza place with a great local brew selection. The dough here is better than most pizza joints. The 3 cheese Calzones are fantastic. Worth the drive if you want to bring out the yeast beast within you.

Yeasty Beasty is a fun pizza parlor in Monmouth right next to the WOU campus. They have a great selection of beer and a few retro arcade games.

On a Saturday night the place was busy but our pizza took only about 15 minutes to arrive. Unfortunately the pizza was just OK on some slices the crust was very dry and on another slice the dough was undercooked.

The ingredients were so so with plain sauce, ok meats, and canned pineapple slices. I asked for ranch sauce after the pizza was brought to our table and had to pay 85 cents extra. Then I had to find the person I paid several minutes to actually get the sauce.

I might give this place another try some day but I’m not in a rush to hurry back.

This place was good. There were only three people working at the time and they had their hands full so the food took a good long while to get to us but I understood. I’m not gonna fault them for working their tails off in order to keep things running at all. I got the Mini Combo Beasty for lunch. When it was brought out I was pretty disappointed; I know it said Mini but this looked more like Puny. Fortunately, the dough had this really interesting amount of volume to it so it was a much more filling pizza than I had feared. Some of the toppings didn’t incorporate very well into the pizza as a whole but what are you going to do with something so small? It’d be a non-issue for a standard pizza. Tasted great regardless.

My main issue was the cost. I get it: times are tight and inflation is still crazy. But dropping $20 for such a little thing plus a pop was a bit disappointing.

We had a very nice lunch today while dropping my son off at college. Great service, beer selection and pizza! The crust was one of the best I’ve had. I would highly recommend this spot and we will definitely be back when we visit next!
