We loved the fried chicken and mashed potatoes so much, we went back to Jack’s twice during our stay in Eclectic. We also tried the hamburgers, which we agreed is better than a n McDonalds. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Hopefully we’ll find Jack’s Family Restaurants in the other states we’ll visit on our tour of the U.S.

I’ve had a consistently frustrating experience at Jack’s. One employee who rides a bike is always incredibly rude and seems like she doesn’t want to be there at all. Additionally, the lady working the speaker tonight, who has piercings, was extremely rude. She rushed me through my order, repeatedly asking, “Is that it? Anything else?” in a very abrupt and unfriendly manner. On top of that, I often pay for extra ranch and never receive it, forcing me to go back every time. It’s clear that management needs to re-evaluate their hiring practices, as this level of service is unacceptable. The day shift is fine but don’t go after 3.

Was not greeted at the register. Manager was wiping nose with shirt. No gloves on hands while handling food by employees. No hair nets. I found a piece of hair on my hot biscuit. After asking who the Manager was I was told it was tbe person whom was wiping his face and nose with his t-shirt. He told me he told them afterwards they had to put on hair nets. Tables were dirty. He did not have on one. Because we were dining in a receipt with a full refund was placed on my table. It was disgusting to find hair on my biscuit. I was sick to my stomach. Could not eat my meal. I can’t imagine having taken the food home through the drive-thru. I am from Auburn so it was a 45 minute drive. When I said thanks for the refund. No remarks from anyone behind the counter.

I feel as if you have ONE JOB I ordered the Merry Meal Deal and she even repeated my order I got No sauce and I didn’t even get my cookie. Nothing was “Merry” and It wasn’t even a deal with how expensive it was.
