Ordered the Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich for lunch. I know they probably can’t go too hot for most customers, but my sandwich was not spicy at all. The sandwich was fresh and tasted good. Unfortunately there was not much heat to it. Good food, I’ll give this place another try soon.

Let me lead with the positives…the quality of the food was good, and the waiter was good. Two things bothered me. One, on the door of the restaurant, it says monday’s buy a burger get a free beer. Then we sit down and the menu says $2 off. Waiter said they changed it and never took it off the door. Seems kind of shady, to get you in the door that way. Plus the burger seems a bit smaller than last time i was there. Oh, also, we got the chicken cobb salad. All the side stuff (bacon, blue cheese, etc) all decent quantity, but you hardly gave any actual lettuce. You can actually have people feel like they got value, if you gave more lettuce. Of course your stingy on fries, too and that’s just a potato. Whatever.

I love the food! Everything is fresh and you can taste it. Even though I didn’t love the bratwurst, I could still tell it was fresh. The fish tacos are amazing. Every meal I’ve had there has been great and keeps me coming back; it’s my favorite place to eat in Carson right now.

I doordash a lot from you guys, maybe the cooks were angry about the order? But this is the 2nd time I have had only maybe 1/4 of the Togo cup filled with cheese. Please offer a more consistent bigger serving or the ability to order extra cheese on doordash.

Great little brewery in Carson City. Very busy on a Friday night, but we were able to go right in and sit at the bar. Great bartender, just got us in under the happy hour wire.
The squeeze only had a soda, but I had the Truckee River Red, nice sweet caramel and roasted malt flavors.
We both had two fish tacos, one would have been good. The hunk of fish was huge, well battered and fried to a golden brown.cole slaw and guac finishes it off. We were expecting street taco size. I can see why it gets busy.
As a plus, they have free brewery stickers, unlike othe places, so 5 stars.

They really care about high quality food here. Love the attention to detail, hot crispy fries, crisp lettuce. Over the top delicious ingredients make outstanding food. The servers are awesome, very attentive and offer recommendations when you ask. The menu is huge!!

I can’t say enough great things about Alex at Great Basin in Carson City. From the moment we walked in, his leadership was apparent. Not only did he check in personally to make sure everything was perfect, but he gave us the feeling of caring about our experience. You can tell he takes pride in both the beer selection and the quality of the food. The food came out hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared, and the beer was amazing. I will be recommending Great Basin to everyone that is looking for great food, beer, and customer service.

I had a decent time here. It is much like any other gastropub you have been to. So if you like that, it’s here!
I got a blue cheese burger and a milk stout. The food was good, but things seemed a bit pricey relative to what I got.
I sat at the bar and they seemed overwhelmed, so it was hard to get service when I wanted it, but also I was in a rush, so I wasn’t being the most gracious guest.
That said, the servers were very nice when I was able to talk to them! And the manager came by to make sure everyone was doing well!

Really cool brewery and there beer is very good! My wife and I got our own flights (which totaled 8 different beers) I can honestly say they were all good. The staff was super friendly and always checking up on us. We got a pepperoni pizza and it was also good. In my personal opinion I think the pepperoni was a little strong and kind of took away from the taste of the dough and the sauce. They ferment there dough for 72hrs which is awesome! Doing this really allows the yeast to ferment so you get great flavor. This is the way to do it and I’m glad to see them doing that. If your in Carson I would definitely check this place out.
