Skyline Chili Review – A Kentucky Roadtrip Highlight While traveling through Kentucky, I kept hearing buzz about Skyline Chili, so I had to see what all the fuss was about—and wow, it did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, the service was genuinely spectacular. Friendly staff, quick seating, and a welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home.
But the real star? The food. I had high expectations from all the hype, but it still managed to exceed them. The chili was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious—an unforgettable taste that totally lives up to its reputation.
I’m beyond glad and grateful I made the stop, and it’s safe to say Skyline Chili is now a must-visit for me whenever I’m in town.
Next time I’m in Kentucky, it’s definitely getting a repeat visit.

Service was spectacular. They brought us a sample of chili for our first time visit. Hot dogs hit the spot. Pro advice: hot sauce on oyster crackers

Im not into fast food but when I do, this store is where I get my fix-me-up meal. And tonight, I drove through to buy a 3 way chili and when I opened it at home I was a bit disappointed again to see only a thin layer of chili on top of the spaghetti. It looks like they are so stingy with the sauce when it’s a take out order because this is not the first time i have experienced it. I thought maybe the server didnt mean it but for several times now? I think it’s intentional. I hope they should look into this issue.

It’s a Cincinnati favorite and always our go-to restaurant when we get back from vacation! The service is always fast and the food is great!

It’s kinda ridiculous to get a 3 way without cheese but they can make sure to give me a flier for the chicken chili. I also ordered chilitos with sour cream and didn’t get that either. I paid over $45 dollars to not be able to enjoy my meal. Absolutely ridiculous

Unique restaurant with an environment unlike anything else. Food was very good with unique flavor profile. The chili has an interesting cinnamon sweetness that was good and lots of cheese aided a classic coney dog. Service was good and friendly in a diner setting. If you’re in the Cincinnati area, it’s worth a stop at one of these locations.

I go here very regularly, usually the drive thru. The staff are great, but I always feel sorry for them because the sound system at the drive through has been very poor for years. The staff can’t hear what you’re ordering, and I often have to just drive up to the window to order.
The owners really should address this, as it’s unfair to both customers and staff.
Everything else about this restaurant is great – both food and service!

The restaurant was clean and as soon as we sat down, the waitress came to take our order. A bowl of chili with a side of onions and cheese and a cheese coney with mustard, onions and cheese and a Diet Coke. It was served quickly and was hot and delicious. Overall was a delicious dinner.

This place was delicious! A lot of food for a good price. The waitress was very nice.
The buffalo salad was too spicy, but it was still good!

Skyline is a solid place for Cincinnati chili. Like the table service. I had the old standby 3 way. Lunch guest had the baked potato – with chili and cheese. Looked really good and something I’ve never had. Gonna try it next time when I come back.
