Great pho place in the downtown area!
I came in yesterday for lunch after work and it was very good. I tried the prefix special that I found online, and it is excellent and reasonable priced! They also have a good selection of desserts, and I found the staff are very kind and professional.
I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is a cute new addition to the area and I would say it is one of the nicest new retaurants on the strip. A new reason to come back in the area. I will be back:)
We started with drinks: the Iced Passionfruit Juice was bright and refreshing with real passionfruit seeds, and the Mango Milkshake was creamy without being heavy — subtly sweet and perfect as a cool pairing to the soups.
The Saté Rice Noodle Soup is usually served with beef, but we swapped it for chicken — and it worked beautifully. The velvety peanut saté broth added richness and depth, while the sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and scallions brought a fresh lift in every bite.
Then came the Beef Rib Rice Noodle Soup — absolutely loaded, and practically a meal for two on its own. The broth was rich and aromatic, served with extra herbs and toppings to customize. The beef was incredibly tender, sliding right off the bone — pure comfort in a bowl.
The Appetizer Combo Platter was a crispy little celebration: wontons, spring rolls, fried tofu, betel leaf beef, and shrimp on sugarcane — everything hot, crunchy, and full of flavour. The beef wrapped in betel leaf was smoky and moist, and the sugarcane shrimp brought that perfect sweet-savory bite.
But the dish that stole my heart? The Tamarind Shrimp Soup. Sweet, tangy, light, and soul-warming — packed with okra, mushrooms, herbs, and tender shrimp. It’s the kind of soup that feels like a hug from the inside especially perfect for fall.
Whether you’re after a classic pho or something a little more soulful and nostalgic, Pho 90 delivers in flavour, in warmth, and in portion size too. Highly, highly recommended!

We ordered a number of items to eat:
– deep fried spring rolls (appetizer)
– deep fried tofu (appetizer)
– rare beef rice noodle soup
– grilled chicken & sunnyside egg
– can of coke zero
– vietnamese iced coffee w/ condensed milk
Everything we ordered was delicious! The food was flavourful and filling. I will definitely be back!
Went for a warm bowl of pho on this early November snowfall — the perfect comfort food day.
I love pho. I’ve had it with bone marrow, oxtail, and the obligatory brisket, but this was my first time trying it with short ribs. Wow. Boy did Pho 90 deliver.
The steaming bowl was aromatic with hints of star anise, rock sugar, cloves, and fresh basil. The short ribs were incredibly tender — they even give you a side bowl with gloves and scissors to help with the ribs, though I barely needed them.
It was so satisfying and filling that I had to take the rest home. To start, I ordered the shrimp fresh rolls. Some places overload them with lettuce, but Pho 90 packs theirs with fresh herbs and flavor. So good.
Pho 90 was recently awarded a Canadian Choice Award for Best Vietnamese Restaurant — and it’s well deserved. An absolute must-try if you’re craving authentic, soul-warming pho.

Everything was so tasty, we’re already excited to come back!
For $23 the quality of meat should be inevitably high quality, not synthetic seeming or of a strange animal. Will not suggest this place to no one, and will never go again.
