While we waited for our table upstairs, we grabbed some coffee, Chai, and got chocolate. The coffee was good but the Chai and the hot chocolate were average. Probably need to try it again though.

They have cafe au lait here. Not the same as NOLA though. I think the milk was not hot enough.
Cookie and other baked goods look very good. I didn’t know they bake everything in house. Except the cookies I think.
First time I try Vegan Zucchini Bread. Wow. It is moist and pretty much like a cinnamon pound cake. I assume it is healthier than regular bread too.

Very nice and cozy. Staff is friendly and they have free wifi. Nice place to take a break and enjoy some coffee.

Stopped in for coffee and was pleasantly surprised to find not only a great shop, but also a space that supports local art. The barista, Skai, is both a talented artist and a true professional. She shared how much she enjoys working here and even pointed me toward other creative spaces for artists to learn and grow. Her salted caramel latte was fantastic!
The shop itself has recently been remodeled while I can’t compare it to before, I can say the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The bathrooms are clean, the vibe is positive, and the overall experience was wonderful. Love seeing a place that blends coffee, community, and creativity. I’ll definitely be back. ☕️ ️

This is the lower strictly coffee/tea/other beverages and baked goods half of a mostly college study spot. The upstairs dine in restaurant area is called The Crows Nest where you sit down and eat, both areas are fantastic to sit by yourself and study or bring a small group to either study or socialize and are wifi provided so long as you purchase a drink or meal. Everything from service to meals/drinks are 4 stars and the atmosphere is a solid 5 star from me because it’s cosey and soft lighting

This cafe is really convenient if you’re waiting to get into the Crow’s Nest, but it’s also very nice on its own. The cafe miel I had was quite nice and the honey was mixed in very well. The staff was friendly despite the crowds, and I still was served fairly quickly. It’s worth stopping by even if you’re not going upstairs.

Wonderful place, and omg the food! It was all amazing and the staff was spectacular! There is a staircase to get to the restaurant, but can happily accommodate people in the bakery downstairs!

A preferred place for coffee, baked goods, and the best London Fog (tea) in Kalamazoo. They have house syrups in addition to the usual availability (lavender is my favorite). They have vegan options (the scones and zucchini bread are great). Delicious breads.

We usually wait in here or go record shopping at Satellite Records while waiting for a table for Crows Nest, which is upstairs.

Ive been here a hand full of times and the food is worth the wait – there is always a wait to be seated, but its a great place to eat. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite place to go when I visit Kalamazoo. This place has the friendliest staff and the idea and concept of a café AND restaurant? Amazing I always get the same thing from the cafe but the drink taste the best every time and when you order, the staff are very patient with you. They have so many various options for pastries. The restaurant always has good options that can go with multiple dietary options and/or restrictions. The size of the places are a bit small but have a cozy atmosphere.
