Loved this place!
The restaurant was clean and spacious, though a little dark lightning wise. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, well portioned and decently priced.

I’m leaving a 5 star review because I genuinely enjoy coming to the switchback. I have friends and family who work here! The food is consistently good and I love the atmosphere. I do want to draw attention to the management and the owners that they may want to have a conversation with NEW staff about treating patrons with love and kindness. If someone is being rude to you then by all means, handle appropriately. But my family (party of 7 on Tuesday 1/20/26) received an alarming amount of hostility, rudeness and negative attitude from our waiter that really disturbed me. I personally asked him how he was doing? (To which he said “fine”) Or if we had upset him? (To which he said sharply “no”) so I moved on but two days later, it’s still bothering me. Why is it bothering me? Because we were a family heavily grieving at that dinner as a death occurred in our family within 6 hours of that meal. We were meeting as a family to comfort and love on each other. I’m not going to be nasty and leave a negative review about the restaurant because 1) I’ll definitely be back 2) this experience is not a reflection of my billion times at Switchback/Treasure 3) I don’t want to drive people away because this isn’t worth it! But I hope someone in charge sees this and has a conversation. Because maybe that waiter was having a bad night… but so were we.. and he’s just needs reminded that you never know what someone else is going through. So always be kind. Everyone needs that reminder sometimes. Love and God bless!

During my visit around 11 am, I had the opportunity to try the salmon dish, and it was truly outstanding. The salmon was cooked to perfection, bringing out its natural flavors and leaving me completely satisfied. I was also impressed by the level of care and warmth provided by the server. Their friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere and made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Based on the delicious salmon, friendly server, and fast service, I can confidently say that I will be returning to this restaurant in the future. It’s a great place to enjoy a well-prepared meal and receive exceptional hospitality.

Excellent American steakhouse Restaurant.
I was skeptical approaching based on bare bones exterior but was blown away by the quality of the experience. From the friendly staff, the fair prices, to the well cooked meats and the lack of over salting i was impressed.
I had a steak cooked medium rare. And let me tell you it was tender, actually cooked medium rare and NOT salted or buttered to the teeth. I’ve had steak at restaurants all over the world, charging 3 or 4 times as much, and can say without fail this is one of the best prepared I’ve ever had.
Baked potatoes was soft inside, but not too soft. Not oversalted or inundated with butter. An excellent example of a good baked potatoe.
Steamed veggies were par for the course and caesar salad was exactly as expected for a house caesar. Nothing crazy.
Interior decorations were very Montana chic with tasteful taxidermy. And wait staff was helpful, nice and attentive.
Honestly, came in expecting nothing but a meal and left with a top tier dining experience.
Highly recommend if youre in town.

Yum. Visiting for the night. Googled all kinds of restaurants. Wanted a steak or a burger. But affordable. Looked at their reviews which were up and down. Chose to roll with it. I had burger patty with grilled onions n gravy, loaded salad and potato. My wife had the mignon (medium well )loaded spud and steamed veggies. Just the right amount of food to get full without a doggy bag. Drinks were awesome. Jeanne was our server very accommodating and friendly. Great atmosphere. Will go there again next time in the area.

Great first visit. Went on a Friday for dinner and went all out with the Prime Rib Special. Well worth it, cooked to medium rare which is what I requested. Good flavor and juicy. Got the JoJo wedges, potato wedges dipped in the batter for fries chicken and then fried, and rice pilaf which had bacon and carrots? in it.

We came in for simple burgers. The wait was extremely long. It took forever for the waitress to even come to the table to ask us what we would like to drink. When we finally received our order over an hour later they forgot an order. Everything was burnt. And to make matters worse we were charged extra for things that were supposed to come with our meal (fries). The waitress was terrible and basically not present. I won’t be going back.

Food was so great! Server was very attentive and friendly to all of our needs, even while it was very busy. Awesome experience and will be back! Love the Montana deco. Cool place!

Both the service and the food was very good. My hubby had the chicken fried steak which was served with brown gravy instead of country gravy which was a little weird but he said it was very good. His veggies were steamed perfectly and the waffle fries were thick and yummy! I had the chicken parm which was very good and a very generous portion. It came with a house salad which was very fresh and delicious as well. My son enjoyed his steak, even ranking it in line with his favorite steak house. We would definitely eat here again.

Delicious food. The menu had so many good sounding dishes it was hard to make an decision… however the two times I went there I was not disappointed. The chicken fried steak one day and the breakfast skillet the next day both delicious decision… The service was top notch and my coffee was never empty. I will be back for lunch and dinner on another trip to Libby.
