I was excited to try this restaurant so I decided to order off DoorDash due to the weather. I ordered whiting sandwich with French fries, Salmon with Mac n cheese and yams.
The food arrived hot but I was truly disappointed. The sandwich arrived with no bread and very bland.
The salmon, Mac and yams were inedible. The salmon doesn’t look appetizing, and very bland. I was highly disappointed in the quality of the food. For that reason, I will not be returning.

I got the fried lobster tail and red velvet waffle. The two went perfectly together & the macaroni & cheese was perfect. I do not eat like this often, but if I did this place would be a problem for me. Delicious & homemade food at prices that are reasonable.

I brought home “The Classic” for my mom and I to try out. That comes with a few pieces of wings, a huge waffle, and two sides (I picked the Mac and cheese & collard greens) we finished it in 10 minutes together oh and their sauce.. amazing as well! Everything was so fresh and the staff was friendly! Will be back 🙂

I gave a Four Stars only because those sides & certain things are pricey… Yet an Overall FUVE STAR ⭐ The small should be $4/$5 & Large $7 gotta keep them customers happy & coming back for more‼️ Yet there are also good prices because $23 for Red Velvet Waffle Fried Lobster tail w/✌ sides of your choice now that’s a good darn price for that‼️But that’ maybe why the sides are so pricey. Sometimes your eyes be bigger than your stomach or you see all this good food & want it how we cook it like can’t have Mac n cheese w/o potatoes salad & greens with some yams & cob corn . I was hungry & being greedy so much I couldn’t finish what I started Certain meals comes with two sides & it is a decent amount of food. It starts to add up & be pretty expensive (IN TOTAL) when adding them extra sides‼️ So be careful with that other than that, That food was a blessing to my tummy‼️ & I’m about to finish the rest Overall it was a comfortable nice sized with seating nicely decorated, Clean, ALL EMPLOYEES were friendly, cautious, wearing protective wear. They were so busy & crowded however, kept up with serving everyone well. Minor not mistakes but forgot to give someone something however, when noted it was quickly granted because of how busy they were with not only walk in yet Uber eats, door dashers as well. I AM PROUD OF THEM AND HAVING A BLACK OWNED RESTAURANT I AM PROUD OF MY SUCCESSORS‼️‼️ KEEP THAT GOOD FOOD COMING! OH I WANTED A EXOTIC DRINK & THEY WERE SOLD OUT.. MAYBE NEXT TIME W&S‼️ KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FEFE (FELICIA) U DID YOUR THING COOKING I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET A PIC FOR MY SOCIAL BUT I DID NOT WANT TO DISTURB HER SHE WAS GETTIN’ IT RIGHT‼️IM PROUD OF Y’ALL GIRL CONGRATULATIONS My ending result $60 for $95 in Waffle & Soul. & I still recommend & would go back when I don’t feel like cooking ☺️‼️ I search for coupons as well so Groupon & go get u some W&S‼️ You can’t listen to everyone other people may tell you different because of something they don’t like or their experience or the fact it cost too much well so does the US (uncle sam) Supermarket & if you ain’t got it stay home & cook for them kids‼️

My first time dining at this restaurant. The dining area is very clean and welcoming. The food was very fresh. You can tell that they use fresh oil. They make your food to order, so you have to wait 10 minutes if that. I had the fried shrimp with Mac n cheese with French fries. Found it to be very affordable at $14. The gentlemen at the counter was very courteous and professional. They really appreciate the business. I enjoyed the fried shrimp very much. Just wish they had cocktail sauce and fresh tartar sauce, as opposed to packets. I’m sure they are still finding their footing. I wish them the best and am definitely putting them in the rotation. Will be recommending to all my friends and family. Looking forward to trying the chicken and waffles. I’m sure everything is delicious.

I had the pleasure of dining in at Waffles and Soul. If you love soul food then this is the place that will bring you back to home. If you want to taste soul food then this is the spot for you. I enjoyed The Classic. I had buttermilk waffle and my chicken was soul sauce my sides were black eyed peas, and Mac and cheese. The temperature of the food was perfect. The taste was amazing. The restaurant is clean and looked organized. The atmosphere was fantastic. I was so impressed with the music and vibe. The prices are spot on! I could go on and on especially the kind and professional staff. Please continue to make food with love. We need that. They truly live up to the name Waffles and Soul. If i could give 10 stars i would. Not to mention i drive a long way to eat there!!! Guys totally worth it. Thanks for your restaurant.
