Had Chicken fried rice, And the General Tso’s chicken…..
Was plenty of food for 2 people….Even had enough to carry home with us!!!!
A bar is located along a section of the wall. Sorry, no bar stools for sitting, at least not present during this visit. Evening lighting was appropriate and well lit throughout the restaurant; ceiling spotlights and one wall art lighting sufficiently the dining area, not overdone, giving a nice, fresh approach to evening dining without to little or too much lighting. Very comfortable.
Dad and I were greeted at the entrance desk and seated promptly upon entering the restaurant. Our server met us as we were being seated, offering assistance for securing Dad’s larger size walker roller out of the way of our table and any other guests who may come along to seat next to us. She asked us what beverages we would like to have for our evening meal. We ordered hot tee and sides of water.
My father and I looked over the menu placed on the wooden table while waiting for our beverages. The menu was simple, one lamenated board with selections of appetizers, soups, chef specials and categorized meats and fish dishes, along with rice. Dad selected the Crispy Beef with Orange Glaze (Sauce) and I, the General So Chicken dish. We also selected hot and sour soup and two egg rolls/spring rolls filled with shrimp and pork.
The soup arrived first. It was good as I remembered from other Peking visits. The spring rolls/egg rolls arrived after the soup was finished. They were full and flavorable, nice size shrimp within. Of course Dad and I used hot mustard to add a bit of kick to the rolls. Once finished, our main dishes came out and were placed on the table with the finished dishes being removed. We enjoyed each of our dishes, drinking hot tee throughout the meal with leftovers to take home after the evening meal was complete.
All said and done, we thoroughly enjoyed our whole meal experience from the time we were seated to the time we finished. Thank you Peking staff for a wonderful evening of good food preparation, presentation, and flavor along with the great service!
Chicken chow mein was disgusting. Inedibly salty … 3 bites and out, the rest got thrown away. Four people, 3 appetizers, 4 main courses, one iced tea, one lemonade and with tip the bill was $170.00
Service was decent.
Outrageous amount of money for really bad food. Never again.
