My coworker and I happened to stop here while passing through Utica. He is from Idaho and always likes pizza while in NY. The guy at the counter gave us a whole run down of their pizzas and even brought us some risotto balls for free to try! Super friendly, great service, and a clean well thought out atmosphere make this a must stop for me now when passing Utica. Worth a stop in your travels!

The fish fry was outstanding. Very reasonably priced. With fries and (delicious) coleslaw. I was very pleased. I’ve been before and was impressed with the sandwiches. Pizza is very good, not awful fond of their upside down but who’s perfect? Good job!

Get the half hots!!! Delicious and will be craving them going forward. The in house made red sauce was so delicious! Had bloody Mary’s and all 6 meals were really good. I believe the owners name is Tom, he was so busy all by himself bartending, waiting, and cooking. Such a nice guy. Only suggestion, is to make sure doors are unlocked . I actually caught two different couples walking away because they thought it was closed. But because I enjoyed myself so much I ran out and caught them, which they both returned. It’s funny because the last time I was in town, that had happened to us too. Just would hate for someone to miss out on this place thinking it wasn’t open.

I love Lukin’s. They unquestionably have the best pickle pizza anywhere! I’ve been here many times, usually for take out, but have eaten in once. They have a great menu selection and I’m always pleased with what I get.

I had meatballs with sauce which was very good. My wife had the chicken riggies mild , which she said was very good. We both had a antipasto. I liked that they had pickled vegetables on it. The only reason I gave atmosphere 4 stars is because I did not realize there was a bar in there and we sat in the bar area because that is where full service takes place. Next time we will sit in the smaller area where you have to go up to the counter and place your order. The staff was very polite.

On a visit to see our granddaughter at Utica University, we took her to Lukins for pizza. It was our first time there. Tom was very personable,the service couldn’t be better, the chicken bacon ranch pizza was so delicious and the place itself was the kind of ambiance we like. We’ll definitely go there again when in Utica.

We had a great lunch here! Freshly made food that was delicious. The crust on the deep dish was outstanding and the sauce was fantastic! Great service. When mentioning that one of our party loved chicken bacon ranch, they gave us 2 slices on the house to go with the other things we ordered. This place is a gem!

Nice spot for drinks, live music & food. Friday & Saturday are typically packed but fun for those who don’t mind the big crowds. Note: It is a bit hard to find parking close to Lukins on those nights.
Sundays are pretty laid back for all the shy people like me. Lol The bartender Maggie was super sweet, place is clean and gives off an industrial vibe.
Drink : Moscow Mule(Vodka+Ginger Beer+Lime Juice+Mint leaf)….My go to drink…so good!
Food : Shrimp Tacos…Delicious!

If you are looking for a great place to have a gathering or your next party, Lukins Brick Oven Pizza did a wonderful job catering and hosting my son’s graduation party yesterday. Every one of our guests kept raving about how good the pizza and wings were. The staff was so accommodating that were working. The owner Tom went above and beyond to provide the best experience possible as we had to move inside due to weather. There were also several gluten allergies that were accommodated with pasta that was said to be very good and all our wings and salad were also made gluten free. The back patio/bar area is beautiful and a great private area for a gathering also. Thank you Tom and staff for a wonderful day. Coming from Florida to have a party was a lot and it went very smoothly.
