Sunday lunchtime, empty. Took 30 min for food. Extra charge to have ranch or blue cheese with a full wing order. Keep giving this place a second chance but Bottoms up is far superior. Server was great, bartender was outside doing something so drinks took forever.

It’s been a few years since we last visited, and overall, it was okay. They have a decent beer selection, but I expected a bit more variety for a place called an Ale House. I ordered the salmon, but the portion was very small and overcooked. My wife, on the other hand, got the chicken picante, which was a large portion and tasted great. The music was pretty loud, and our server had trouble hearing and taking our order.

Great Atmosphere and Service at Up North Ale House
I visited Up North Ale House while on a business trip with a large party of 14. The restaurant accommodated us well, placing us in a separate room, which made for a comfortable dining experience despite the trivia night crowd. The atmosphere was casual and lively.
The service was fantastic—attentive and friendly. We ordered several appetizers, including Calamari, Seared Tuna, Brussels Sprouts, Buffalo Cauliflower, and Mozzarella Sticks, and they were all fantastic. I personally ordered the Chicken Piccata, which was well-presented and tasted great.
While some in our party had mixed feelings about their meals, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would happily return to Up North Ale House. It’s a solid choice for good food and a fun, laid-back atmosphere.

Today was my first time here. I drive by this place all the time, so I decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was open and airy. I went early to avoid the crowd so I could get a good feel for the restaurant. We were greeted quickly and seated at a table immediately. The server was prompt and polite. I did ask her questions about the menu to see how well she knew the items, and she was very helpful. Both of our dishes were really good and cooked perfectly. We ended up ordering burgers, and they did not disappoint. The menu had a ton of tasty sounding items, so I will need to go back to try more selections. I would definitely recommend you give this place a try as it was very good.

Very good food, wide selection on the menu. My friends really liked the salmon with a side of asparagus. I got the prime strip steak with spinach and a baked potato, which was excellent. Excellent beer and cider list. Was a bit loud and the atmosphere was just okay. Server was very good.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant in the past, which made me hesitant to return. However, I decided to give it another chance today, and I’m so glad I did! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming. It was a complete turnaround from my previous visit, and I truly appreciate the improvements. I will definitely be coming back!

Initially look at the Yelp review and was skeptical about the food, but decided to give a try. Overall the dishes that I ordered were great. Service can be better but could be due to short staff so can’t complain much. Still had a great time.

The dining area is nice. The bar is also a very great area as well. Ask them to make you a gin negroni and you won’t be disappointed. Also, the mini burgers are delicious!

First time here . Bryan is amazing . Food is better than what my expectation was for sure. It was absolutely delicious. LOOK AT THAT PIZZA !!!! Oh yeah and bill is very comfortable. Fair prices . Amazing service . CRAZY GOOD PIZZA . If you have not tried this place it should be on the list for sure

I’m writing this because I am genuinely disappointed about our experience. A night that was supposed to be enjoyable ended with several people at our table feeling seriously unwell afterward, and that is simply unacceptable for any restaurant.
I’m not claiming to know exactly what caused it, but the fact that multiple people felt sick shortly after eating here is extremely alarming. On top of that, some of the dishes tasted a bit off, a few came out lukewarm, and overall the food just did not seem as fresh or carefully prepared as it should have been. When you go out to eat, you expect at the very least to feel safe eating the food you’re served—this did not feel like that.
I’m frustrated, disappointed, and honestly pretty shaken by the whole experience. We will absolutely not be returning, and I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and immediately reviews their food handling and kitchen practices. No one else should have their night ruined the way ours was.
