Store manager was rude and very unhelpful and then she called district manager Jill and she refused to give me a refund when my order was placed Wrong they kept telling me refund had to be done on app since I placed order through drive thru bc it wouldn’t take my code i was given off app through drive thru but the system changed my order that I placed in line orginally. I explained that to store manager after she heard me placed it even though she knew I placed it in drive thru she just kept blaming the app. She was rude and had a attitude. I don’t recommend this store very unprofessional and I work for the state and definitely will never go back. I’ve never had these issues with Stratford location, but mlk location need new staff and district manager should of been way more trained and helpful such a dissapointment. I spent and entire 30 minutes in store for an issue that xould of easily been resolved. No consideration foe the store app dysfunction. Please train your employees and district manager on better customer service and contact resolutions. Also I had two separate orders so it also caused my 1st order to be cold as well bc I had to wait for my food to get remade after I requested it bc they claimed they could not do a refund.

Waited for take out but after standing there for an extended time. Some lady came to the front, instead of taking my order she told me I couldn’t stand at the counter because I couldn’t have a dog in there . I informed her that he was a service dog. He is clearly wearing his vest. I am a total disabled veteran of the Vietnam War and I take him in all the restaurant I visit without any issues. I have visited this particular restaurant many times without any incidents . I’m not going say she was rude but seemed to be about something. The location is Stratford Road across from the Hanes Mall . This is my last time going to this Popeyes .

The popeye’s restaurant on MARTIN LUTHER KING in Winston Salem nc is horrible ! They don’t acknowledge the customers when you walk in, even the guy cooking the chicken in the back was frowned up. The 2 females in the front looked at me and 3 – 4 others as if we weren’t standing there, I had to wait for 15 minutes before they took my order, they only acknowledged the drive thru. I don’t think they were trained correctly, and as I was waiting, I told the female at the front counter, I was going to the bathroom, she said the bathrooms don’t work, so I’m trying to figure out, why is this Popeye’s even open. I’m gonna tell News 12 ,and Fox8 about this. I’m never going back to that Popeye’s again. I asked for Red beans and Rice, they said they don’t have that, and they gave me fries, I didn’t want fries. I wanted to dine in but I couldn’t because I couldn’t wash my hands before I ate my food. The bathrooms are out of order.

My boyfriend and I stopped here to dine in for our afternoon lunch break. Neither of us had eaten at Popeye’s and wanted to try it out. I needed to use the bathroom, but the doors have coded locks on them. We went ahead and placed our order on the kiosk, hoping they would give us the code as we pay for our order (which you cannot do at the kiosk because there are locks on the card scanners. We took our receipt to the counter to pay. We asked for the bathroom code and they said they had no working restroom–in a very unfriendly and dismissive tone. An employee’s friend called while we were standing there and asked them to go outside (very unprofessional considering there were several customers that were waiting on their food). The whole atmosphere was off and we felt like a nuisance. We ended up leaving without getting our order. Very disappointed in my first Popeye’s experience and I probably won’t return. Seriously….do better.

So, I’ve came here once to get a Chicken Sandwich when I was still living in Charlotte, now I moved and I was craving something since I didn’t want to deliver. Decided to get some tenders and their Signature Chicken. The lady who took my order was kinda disrespectful honestly. She didn’t seem to take orders in person. So when I did complete my order, she now seemed to treat me well…? Waiting was another story, they estimated that my food will be out about 10 minutes, not even a combo, just solo tenders and Chicken, that was a bit of a deal breaker. But, I was patient when I did get the food from them, I checked in my car to see if they did something to my food, surprisingly, nothing at all, bundled in some Biscuits on the Chicken as you see in the photos, and the Chicken tastes super good honestly, try to see if there’s any other Popeyes locations honestly, these people seem like they don’t care and it’s quite sketchy here honestly.

Imagine taking your hard earned money and ordering from Popeyes through UberEats. But instead of receiving some nice golden crispy fried chicken, you receive chicken that looks like it was burnt and beaten with a clothes hanger. So you do what any reasonable person would do which is call the manager to let them know that someone dropped the ball. And instead of accepting your feedback and making it right, they say that their chicken always goes out perfectly and the Uber driver must have done something to the chicken during their two blocks away drive. I basically spent $25 for a drink and a fry because I could not eat the chicken. The next time that anyone has a craving for chicken, I highly recommend that you go find someones grandma to fry you some because baby this aint it.

Customer Service is just terrible… literally everytime I go here they mess something up with the order. Staff is either not attentive or incapable of comprehending how to fix orders. I honestly hate coming to this location… it is never a choice but more so a last option and still disappointing. Why is it so much hassle to just get your food correctly? And of course they didnt have something lmao thats not exclusive to this location tho popeye’s never got the full menu

My experience here was OK. I will say they have mediocre customer service, but their food is good and the place is pretty clean considering the area . Beware the bathrooms are out of order and sometimes the tables are always dirty, but the food has been consistent and I would definitely come here again.

Don’t you EVER in your life…come to THIS Popeye’s!!! The drive-thru associate REFUSED to listen to the order WE wanted to give & STILL didn’t listen at the window. Got home to (of course) wrong orders with missing items. ANNNNND….on top of that…the food was utterly disgusting. Don’t go to this one. Hit the one on Stratford or University.
